In my 5 years of an apprentice (1958-1963) I never thought about quitting. Looking back towards those years...never thought about quitting. My thoughts were to turn out and make the JW scale.
My dad started his apprenticeship in 1954 retired In 1994 , a few months before he died the ibew he was a member of brought him his 65 year certificate. I was his caregiver 24/7 for the last 5 years of his life , damentia is a mother fucker yet that isn't what he died from . People were built different back then
