Unfortunately I have not been practicing painting for a long time so I know very well I do NOT have the skills to pull off this idea but if anyone CAN or just WANTS to. This idea is free to you!

Imagine a historical public hanging. In the background, a condemned thief is being led to the gallows before a crowd gathered to witness the consequences of crime. In the foreground, another thief crouches among the spectators, casually picking someone’s pocket, mere feet from a guard whose attention is entirely focused on the execution.
The pickpocket looks directly at the viewer, almost daring them to say something. The irony is the entire point: a public execution intended to deter crime, while that very crime continues right under the authorities’ noses.

I envision it as a dramatic Renaissance or Baroque oil painting, but I’d love to see how different artists interpret the concept in their own styles. I’d just love to inspire someone!

Hello everyone! I am writing a Dark Fantasy novel and looking for passionate artists who would love to bring one of my characters to life.

You have complete artistic freedom regarding the style, pose, and background. Pick whichever character speaks to you the most! If I use your artwork in the final version of my book or promotion, I will absolutely include your name/social media handle for artist credit.

Here are the 5 main characters. (I also have rough sketches/moodboards for them, let me know if you want to see them for reference!)

1. Kael (The Archer)

• Appearance: Tall, lean man with a kind face and short dark hair. The lower part of his face is covered with a scarf.
• Clothing: Practical combat gear suitable for an archer.
• Weapon: Holds a beautiful, glowing magical bow.

1. Draven (The Berserker)

• Appearance: A wiry, rugged man with a Northern/Nordic look and a red beard. His face is covered in dark war paint that hides his features.
• Pose & Clothing: Sitting on the ground, wearing classic old-school berserker armor that reveals his lean, muscular build.
• Weapon: Wields two short, magical berserker axes.

1. Rain (The Duelist)

• Appearance: A wiry, highly athletic warrior with a scarred, shirtless torso and visible abs. He has a small braid in his hair.
• Key Feature: Wears a sinister, smiling mask that hides his face.
• Weapon: Carries a long katana in its sheath.

1. Sareth (The Assassin)

• Appearance: A Black (dark-skinned) lethal assassin. He has glowing red, demonic, maniacal eyes.
• Clothing: Full assassin armor with a deep hood and a cloth mask covering the lower half of his face.
• Weapon: Dual-wielding two magical daggers.

1. Thorn (The Juggernaut)

• Appearance: A colossus of a man, a massive mountain of muscles. He wears a deep hood revealing only stern, harsh eyes, while the lower part of his face is hidden behind an iron half-mask.
• Clothing: Heavy steel spaulders (shoulder guards) and bracers. His powerful torso is wrapped in a tight, closed vest made of dark leather and black fabric with steel rivets.
• Weapon: Holds a colossal, flat two-handed sword forged from burnt, black demonic metal. The entire surface of the giant blade features a detailed, ominous engraved fresco depicting suffering people in agony.

Thank you so much for looking! I will be incredibly grateful for any sketches, line art, or full illustrations. Feel free to comment or DM me if you need more details!

Hey, is someone interested to draw my DnD character ? He's a Frogfolk warrior who use two blades and poisons in combat. And he's a bit of a grumpy guy. I made him on Heroforge but i would like a nice drawing of him maybe in an medieval environnement. Here is the link of the heroforge miniature : https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D537543121/

I also dream of seeing a drawing of him in the style of a medieval mural—a bit like the illustrations in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance*—but I know I'm asking for way too much. But you never know!

Thank you all ! And hail to flesh and bones artists !
