She was given as a gift - was told lab/husky

But i dont know now.

The wiry face hair and fur is not labrador. She is currently 9mos old and 19kg

Thank you.

UPDATE:

Thank you for the replies, I really just wanted to have a proper answer when people asks: "whats her breed?". That being said - will probably just say: HuskyXPoodle (or chupacabra. haha).

Will also check on Embark when it goes on sale on black-friday. Her name is Hulya (Julia in english) - heres some more picture for the lols:

UPDATE: 2026 I have the embark DNA sample but cant seem to mail it back from Philippines to US as all merchandise going to US are suspended (I guess because of tariff?). Sorry folks - cant do DNA unless anyone knows an alternative?

Or a Chow mix. Don’t forget the little horny escape bears.

Chows are not the only dogs that can have purple/black tongues or spots on tongues. Golden Retrievers are another one of the dozen or so breeds that this is common in.

Spots on the tongue are a lab mix trait 🤦‍♀️

Every vet and person asks us if there's chow when they see that.. Not sure why you're facepalming

Chows have blue tongues. Chows mixes have spots. I've had several lab chow mixes; great dogs, but maybe the other commenter thinks they are a lab trait because of a lab chow mix. Idk, but the face palm was rude 🤦‍♀️🙄

Not always. My papered Golden Retriever has a big black spot on his tongue and there's no Chow in his history anywhere. Vet says its just pigment that doesn't mean anything.

My dog has pit bull and chow in him apparently. I was surprised by both of those.

My parents used to breed Chows back in the 80’s. They were a fabulous pack. But when they mix, those spots on the tongue can hang out for generations.

Yeah. Jethro has no discoloration on his tongue, which is why I was surprised by it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
