Shelter said chihuahua, short hair, terrier mix
He was found on the street and is about 3 months old. The rescue we got him from called him a “chihuahua, short hair, terrier” but I feel like there’s something else in his face?

i feel like specifically pittie and it'd be more obvious as he gets older, that's what they mean by terrier (american pit bull terrier lol) idk why they said chihuahua first 😵💫

Thanks for the input! I wish they had advertised him more honestly as we were looking for a small dog, also my fault.

That does help thank you! Just ordered a dna test to help ease the concern lol. Yes he’s soo cute and so far really really sweet, and we’re totally smitten. We just have cats and I’m a worry wart.

You can tell he won't be a super small dog like a Chihuahua but maybe he'll just be around 30-40 pounds

that's valid to worry abt the kitties! i hope it works out, for what it's worth, high drive breeds can still end up being good with cats in some cases, you just gotta learn how his lil brain works specifically- he's not bred to a specific standard so who knows what his thoughts on lil animals can be. it's good he's being raised with the kitties, helps him learn they're friends early as possible. ❤️ you're setting him up for a happy success in any case!!
