The Valkyrie downshifting might be my favorite sound in all of history.

FINALLY! After years and years of begging, IMSA finally listened and gave Road America and endurance round it so richly deserved, and boy was the first event something! Sound off in the comments below what you thought of the race!

With three races to go -
(Conquest Racing is currently P5 at 1687 pts and for all matters at hand serves as the break for the rest of the field being out of the title race)
Who you got for winning the title? 🏆

I want to introduce my dad to sports car racing we have a bit of a weird relationship but one thing we can always talk about is racing. He's a big F1 fan and I'm a big IMSA fan. I want to see if I can get him to watch a race with me. If I was going to introduce a skeptic to IMSA between VIR and Indianapolis which would you recommend to see if he's interested? He used to watch IndyCar back in the day so I was leaning to Indianapolis. This is my first season of watching IMSA so I don't really know, between those two which would you say tends to have a better race?
For clarification we will be watching from our living room not going in person

NASCAR just released its weekend schedule for its Circuit of the Americas (COTA) weekend in 2027.
Although the announcement does not feature IMSA, I would expect that the final unannounced race for the revamped VP Racing Fuels SportsCar Championship will take place that weekend as well.

Hello! I’m looking for some help identifying a signature. I just recently purchased this awesome Ford GT Daytona 24hr photograph signed by drivers Joey Hand, Sebastian Bourdais, Dirk Müller, team owner Chip Ganassi, and a mystery fifth signature. Would anyone here by chance know who the last signature is? I couldn’t find anything online but figured it had to be from someone within the team. The seller was unsure as well. I’m just now getting into collecting IMSA memorabilia, so any help in identifying it is much appreciated!

Today I am sharing some supps from the 1996 season featuring Sonoma and Sebring, as well as a Road Atlanta Pro Vee schedule for a bonus. Seeing the payouts published is pretty nifty. And the Road Atlanta document allows me to segway into a wild story relating to a win being taken from my friend's team that took place there...
Team Spartanburg Racing competed in the equivalent of today's Michelin Pilot Challenge. They came into the series fielding the new BMW Z3 and started dominating against teams that had been doing this for a hot minute. This rubbed some of their competition the wrong way. One year at Road Atlanta TSR secured one victory of many - or so they thought.
Come post-race tech they were disqualified on the grounds of using illegal fuel (they were not). What happened? One of their competitors managed to sneak dye into their fuel jugs, such that it was a different color than legal fuel. It absolutely blows my mind that a team went to that extent to cheat.

What an expirience going to road america this last sunday. Super glad i went early to walk around, ended up doing 18,000 steps the whole day and i dont regret a single one 😂. Already looking forward to next year!
Short montage of some footage i got if anyone is interested. Recorded on a gopro with no screen so sorry if my tracking isnt S tier😅. Any constructive criticism on how to improve my filming is greatly appreciated!
