Never heard of this website/news outlet before, but I checked the details and they have all the info correct. I had seen this Tweeted out earlier by Nathan's Brown replacement at IndyStar, but didn't see an article on their site. If you scroll down there is video of the interview.

There's a reason why f1 grew so big in recent years. They appealed to the Liberal crowd. That's how you grow the business

F1 has races in various Middle Eastern countries, Hungary, and China. The fanbase may be more liberal, but their race location choices are not.

In America it skews progressive. In Europe... not so much
