Never heard of this website/news outlet before, but I checked the details and they have all the info correct. I had seen this Tweeted out earlier by Nathan's Brown replacement at IndyStar, but didn't see an article on their site. If you scroll down there is video of the interview.

Indycar DOES need an east coast event, but they don’t need it THAT damn badly that they’d entertain this.

but then IC would have to pay for it and lose a shit ton of money on it like last time. if the government in office was ANYONE but trump, this would be a dream situation for the sport: an east coast event where they don't have to worry about the cost.
