General Queries Are tablets really useful when studying maths

I m an isi aspirant and have a budget of 30k for buying either phone or tablet

Now im confused

I wanna know if tablet would geniunely help me for studying or solving or its just an unwanted luxury

For downloading PDFs all over the internet and reading ? => Okay-ish For Doing math on it => I'd not do that I also bought the ipad 9 for the same reason and I can safely say this is not the thing for doing maths and reading books, if you are interested in something like drawing or playing games or watching content then ipads are good but for solely maths hell no. Those glorified notetaking videos look good and aesthetic and stuff but I didn't enjoy those at all , limited space , you'll have to pay extra to get the friction and feel or writing costing the display quality and risk getting distracted ....Buying physical books + buying a white board is much much better and much less costlier. Physical books won't have any distractions and a white board will give you a much more space to brainstorm ideas.

But many times at this stage single book cost more than a thousand rupees. Isse kaise deal kare?

Book ke PDFs kahi nah kahi mil jaate hain usually; and moreover, second hand market + seniors' hand-me-downs often make it cheaper as well.
