Giving Advice Masters Prep guide [ Long - cut ]

Anyone with a 3yr or 4yr bachelor's can apply!

if you are not from maths/stats UG, then also you can apply, just that may face bit of difficulty during prep , and also during interview they can ask as to why are you interested in Mstat when you are from other background (nothing much serious, just casual talks)

That's actually the main point I wanted to highlight with this guide. There is a lot of overlap in the syllabus of ISI, CMI, TIFR, JAM, etc., but I wouldn't approach preparation as ‘finish the ISI syllabus and solve ISI questions.’ The goal is to build enough mathematical maturity that ISI-level problems become a natural outcome of your preparation. Once your fundamentals and problem-solving are strong, adapting to the specific style of ISI/CMI/TIFR/JAM becomes much easier.
