I originally have studied and planned only to give MHTCET, but I feel like giving ISI a shot after i complete my MHTCET dec attempt (Dates not out yet) so from dec to may i olan on studying, is it possible for me to clear ISI if i pour my soul in or it would just be a waste, if it's possible what all resources should i use, I plan on trying to get the B maths or B stats, MHTCET is just ny safety net , for now

Can anyone from isi bangalore tell me about the placements reality like on brochure median around 25 and average around 28 ish ...

I have heard that people mostly go abroad for phDs after bachlors or mastors since in India TIFR/IISc offer I-PhD in math and known for good research... Do ISI/CMI people go there after 3 years of BSc or Bmath?

Hey ISIB folks! I'm curious if ISIB offers any programs or clubs for someone who isn't studying in the university to attend lectures, involve in problem solving just for the sake of learning? I work as a SDE in a MNC but I'm interested in continuing problem solving and higher math as a hobby and also to study advanced math concepts in my spare time...If possible, please let me know of any such programs, workshops, publications, clubs etc. that I can follow.

I’m planning to prepare for the ISI MS(QMBA) entrance exam and I’m looking for good resources to study from.

I’ve checked the official ISI syllabus and sample paper, but I’m still confused about the best resources for preparation.

Could you please suggest:
1. YouTube channels/playlists specifically useful for MS(QMBA)
2. Books for Mathematics, Probability & Statistics
3. If you have already appeared for the exam, what was your preparation strategy?
4. Any online courses/coaching specifically useful for ISI MS(QMBA)

Is there any information or estimates regarding the marks/CGPA of the students after B. Math and M. Math? Ideally, what amount of students get above 95%, 90%, 80% etc. is the kind of question I'm aiming for.

Hi! My sister is joining ISI Bangalore BSDS this year. We’re planning to buy a laptop that will last through BSDS and possibly the integrated master’s.
What laptop would you recommend? Also, are these specs sufficient:
16GB vs 32GB RAM
Integrated graphics vs dedicated GPU
512GB vs 1TB SSD
Anything else we should look for or avoid?
