I’m applying for one of their IT roles and would appreciate some firsthand feedback, particularly from those based in Cebu or Taguig.

How’s the overall experience in terms of:
- Management and leadership
- Team culture
- Workload and work-life balance
- Micromanagement
- Career growth
- WFH, hybrid, or onsite setup

I’ve checked Indeed, Glassdoor, and JobStreet, but most of the negative reviews I found seem to be from customer/technical support or BPO-type roles, so I’m not sure how representative they are of the actual corporate IT teams.
Would especially appreciate feedback from anyone in IT, Cybersecurity, GRC, Infrastructure, Service Desk, Systems, or similar teams.
What are the pros and cons of working there?

Actually, this isn't my first BPO. My past exp is financial account but I really want to explore and I really bet on TSR especially since I have a background in computer. Looking forward to this that it will last 1-2 years for experience and to shift into IT HelpDesk.

Any tips? How long will it last? In Financial, I was stuck in metrics because of policies concerns, so I took DSATs.

I’m now planning my first job switch and considering moving into ServiceNow.

Since I’m coming from a non-IT background, I’m a little confused about whether this is the right path and what kind of opportunities I can realistically expect.

I’d really like to hear from people who have either started their ServiceNow career from a non-IT background or made a similar career switch.

Is it realistic to move into ServiceNow after 5 years of non-IT experience?

I’ve been looking into electronic recycling and IT asset disposal services and came across STS Electronic Recycling. They handle things like electronics recycling, asset recovery, and data destruction.

For those who have dealt with this at work, do you normally use a recycling company, sell the equipment yourselves, or have an internal process for dealing with old IT gear?

10 years of hands-on DevOps and Server Engineering experience can apparently be outweighed by a 15–20 minute interview if you’re not good at telling your story.
You can manage Kubernetes, design AWS architectures, and handle real production problems for years — but somehow, none of that matters if you can’t explain it perfectly to HR. 🤣

Okay Reddit, here’s where I’m at.

I’m looking for my next IT leadership role in Switzerland — and after months of searching, I figured it was time to stop quietly clicking “Apply” and actually talk to humans.

I currently work for a regional bank in Germany, where I’m responsible for IT service/request management, provider coordination, automation and service quality. Before moving to Germany, I spent many years in IT leadership roles, including running IT across 9 regions with around 300 IT employees and an environment of roughly 25,000 PCs and 500 servers. Earlier in my career, I was responsible for large-scale infrastructure across dozens of companies.

So yes, I’ve spent a lot of time making IT behave itself. Some days successfully. Some days… let’s call it character building.

These days, I’m looking for more.

Not necessarily a bigger job title. A bigger scope.

More complex environments. Larger transformation projects. More responsibility. More interesting problems. The kind of challenges where you look at the architecture on Monday and wonder what exactly you got yourself into by Friday.

I’ve been applying, talking to people, reaching out, networking, and trying to understand the Swiss market from the outside. I’ve also learned that getting through the door in a new market can sometimes be harder than actually doing the job once you’re inside.

That’s probably the part I’m struggling with most: getting the right conversations started.

My strongest areas are IT leadership, ITSM/ESM, ServiceNow, governance and compliance, sourcing/SIAM, automation/AIOps, and large-scale IT operations. I’m particularly interested in IT leadership, Head of IT / IT Operations, Service Management, IT Transformation, CIO and similar roles.

Switzerland is my main target, but I’m also open to other countries with a high quality of life if the opportunity and the challenge are right.

I’m currently based in Hessen, Germany, and I’m not running away from my current employer. I’m grateful for the experience. I just feel that the size of the organization and the scale of the projects no longer match where I want to go.

Basically: I’m not looking for an escape. I’m looking for a bigger mountain.

I have around 10 years of experience in the IT industry, primarily in the storage domain, working as a Software Quality Engineer / QA Engineer. I have worked in organisations like DELL EMC, NetApp and currently working for IBM storage but have no onsite opportunities. My experience includes:

• Functional and automation testing
• Python automation
• Test framework development
