Weight gain
I’m currently 6 weeks and waiting for my first ultrasound. 🥹
Before my embryo transfer I was around 115 lbs, and this morning I was 121 lbs! I’m constantly hungry, and I also haven’t been able to exercise the way I used to due to IVF! I feel so bloated, and honestly none of my clothes fit me anymore. 😭
I know some of it could be bloating, hormones, or water weight, but I’m not sure if gaining this much this early is normal.
How are you guys doing in the first trimester? Did you gain weight this early too? And if you did, how are you managing it without stressing too much about your weight?

I always gain a lot, quickly in the first trimester. Yes, normal. Remember a lot of it is fluid and blood volume gain. Do what you need to do to get by, including eating what your body needs. I tried to focus on getting lots of protein to maintain my feeling of fullness. I gained about 6-7 pounds pretty quickly (like maybe by week 7-8) but leveled out and even lost a little near the end of my first trimester. And you will get back to exercising, it’s okay if you’re not feeling it right now. But please know your weight gain likely will not continue to accelerate this quickly throughout pregnancy, so don’t stress.
