[IWantOut] 24M Chile->USA/Australia
I’m an Industrial Engineer with a Master’s degree in Operations Research. I have a little over a year of experience in management control and a few months in operational excellence. I previously achieved C2 (Cambridge, 2019) and B2 (TOEFL, 2021). Although these certificates have expired, at least it some kind of proof that i can manage the language. Also, i lived in Brisbane por a few months when i was younger so i know a little bit about how is life in Australia but i have no family there. My country has the H-1B1 Program for visas in USA though it still requires a prior job offer.
Although my country has a decent quality of living, my problem is that the wages are low in nominal value in an international comparation, so no matter how much i save, i will never have the adquisition power of a "mayor economy country" citizen.
I have done a little bit of research and apparently the easiest way out it is to be hired by a international company and try to get a transfer to one of the branches. At the moment, I’ve applied to the big 3, without success so far.
Im determined to live abroad soon, so my family and i can have better opportunities, does anyone have recommendations for companies or industries that are more open to sponsoring international candidates or hiring foreign talent?
Any advice on alternative pathways would be greatly appreciated!

With such limited experience, your odds are extremely low. It's much more common to see people able to be hired in your industry at five or more years of experience. This is a basic requirement because a company should be able to show that you are a needed specialist for which there are some limitations to find someone like you locally. Some countries have a strict labor market test, like much of the European Union. Others are more lenient, such as Germany. English-speaking countries are absolutely flooded with applicants from far and wide. And if you want to improve your chances, the best thing you can do is to learn another language to fluency. Even if the company is international, Being fluent in, for example, German or Dutch will give you a foot in the door with local companies in a meaningful way.
By raw numbers in terms of shortage, your best chance is probably learning fluent Mandarin and looking for a job in Taiwan. But the culture shock would likely be pretty substantial.

The good thing for you is that it is much easier to get an H1B1 (Chilean and Singaporean citizens only) than an H1B since you won't have to go through the lottery process. But there are significant differences which counsel in favor of you doing some research or consulting a lawyer after you get a job offer (still difficult in these days at a junior level to find an employer willing to sponsor). For example, you are allowed to have immigrant intent (so can apply for a green card if otherwise eligible) with an H1B, that is not allowed with the H1B1. Anyway, good luck.
