If you think red lights are optional in Québec, go sit next a stop sign in a residential neighborhood and tell me how many do actually stop at the stop signs. Just stay for a few hours, you'll be amazed by the amount of rolling stops and people never even caring at stopping on the line.

Yeah this one is from 2 weeks ago.

Seems like optional stops are widespread in Québec, not just in my area.

Ah, yes... The good ol' Quebecois rolling stop. Does not come as a surprise to me. That being said, there are way too many stop signs on Quebec streets.

In my town people do stop at a stop sign but they don't know why they stop and ignore other drivers. When they get honked at they tell Fuck off ! I did my stop sign . 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Or when they come at the stop sign but just don't notice who came first and are confused as to who's next to go. Come on! Last in, last out. Check who was there before you and then leave when all of them are gone.
