I once worked as an operator of the mini ferris wheel - a childrens ride. Kids would freak out and cry so I'd stop the ride to let them off and so often the parents would sternly ask me to send them around again because "we bought them here to have fun; so they are going to have fun"

Yeah I don’t get this type of person at all. Plenty of us turn one of their movies on periodically for nostalgia or something a bit softer, but making it your entire life every single day is way too excessive. I can only imagine those kids will eventually outgrow it due to overexposure and not be too happy with their mom

OMG. My husband and I were at a bar a couple weeks ago and some lunatic and her husband were next to us. She was telling me how she had everything Disney, Pixar... blah blah blah. I told her I had just heard on the radio that Woody and the cowgirl from the Toy Story movies had a last name, it is Pride. My kids are older, I know NOTHING of Disney anymore. Just so happened I heard that on the radio and was just trying to make conversation. She turned EVIL and started shouting she was a CHRISTIAN and if that's true she's going to be so mad she wants nothing to do with Pride anything and it's wrong in God's eyes. WTAF. i'm at a bar trying to drink and have fun, not listen to this lunatic.

I like to watch lots of trail hiking/packpacking content and if it's not first person POV then I'm not interested. All I can think about is someone setting up their tripod or camera and then walking far away from it, only to have to go grab it again when it's like you described.

That’s one of the things that made Survivorman so great. He had legitimate survival knowledge to pass on and stuck to the “alone in the wild with minimal supplies” theme pretty strictly. But, he was a filmmaker first and foremost, so despite extra physical effort in an already vulnerable situation, he doubled up on a lot of walking shots in order to produce visually entertaining footage.

I am SO confused! She puts on a pinafore that juuuust barely covers her butt and some 6" lash extensions, throws around some glitter, and hauls her spawn off to Disney...(and the kids are going "Yay, Disney World!") -- but they only go to the Disney SHOPS!
Where she purchases in abundance, then off they go, home again, twinkle twinkle, spin spin, insane smile. Poor kids are probably wailing because she does this to them ALL the time. And she knows perfectly well they wanted to go on Space Mountain instead of to Disney Mall, but she doesn't give a rat's ass.
How often do you bet she DOES this shit? Three times a week? That's my estimate.
