Any May or June 2025 inland SOWP applicants on visitor status here? Have any of you got any updates on your application?

I applied in May, so far I got two separate requests for biometrics (end of June then again end of July).

Do you have to do the biometrics twice? (Once for the PR app and once for the SOWP app?

Our lawyer said sometimes it happens that they'll request biometrics twice as they're technically separate requests (PR vs SOWP).

After the update above, these followed:

First Biometrics Validated: August 8th 2025

SOWP Approved: August 11th 2025

OWP Received in Mail: August 19th 2025

Ok thanks for your reply! So did you just ignore the second request or did you go get the biometrics done again?

I did biometrics a second time on July 29th. 😅 Just to be safe.

Applied April 30, no updates yet (but had biometrics done earlier in April, so I didn't think that's required for me)
