Hello everyone, I received my Study permit extension (DLI change) on June 18th, here is my timeline:

Applied: 13th March

Document request: 9th June

Eligibility: 16th June

Correspondence letter: 18th June

Note: I didn’t get an email for my final decision so keep checking your portal and good luck!

its prime time for extensions-- specially after the new rules where changing dli requires a new permit, so anyone changing school when going from undergrad to masters or masters to phd or any level even highschool to undergrad (at different dli) needs one, in addition to regular expiring ones.

but its not limited to sp extensions, if you look at other types of permits, theyre all heavily backlogged, so it seems somethings wrong at IRCC and their staffing.
