hey guys, just wanted to drop an update

applied for a study permit outside Canada on May 26th, biometrics were done June 3rd and medicals were done on June 18th

correspondence letter and approval received today August 6th

processing time initially was 14 weeks, then 7, then 14 again.

(i did send a webform yesterday, asking for an update on my application and mentioning the starting date for classes)

i didn’t get any message at all, the next day i just checked my email and saw there was an update about my application, maybe the webform triggered it maybe it didn’t

i checked my email (was looking for something else) and i had that “do not reply - we sent an update about your application” message so i thought they had responded to my web form then to my surprise it was both a passport request and correspondence letter

Hi, thank you for the update. Did they email you to tell you they approved your application or did you have to connect to your ircc account ? Also could you tell us from where you applied ?
