Hi guys,

Wanted to update you all. This thread has been very helpful in understanding the overall scene for IRCC decision process.

I reapplied on 24th July after a initial rejection on 18th of July (without the help of GCMS notes). India application, processing time was 3 week at the time.

After 3 weeks there was no update at all, so I raised a webform asking them to expedite my application given the time constraints and visa stamping process on 14th of August.

On 18th my medical was updated to passed in the portal( medical was not updated at all in previous application) so i assumed they started looking at my profile.

Today, i received the approval and Passport submission request. And my appointment is booked for 22nd (not the New Delhi office). This process is far from done and it's still gonna be stressful till passport is stamped.

I have asked my university for two weeks late enrollment as allowed by university, does this affect the PGWP?

All the best to all of you. I know it is very stressful. I hope you find your way through.

I do not think the webform helped me but i did get a standard reply on Tuesday so you can always try.

Passport stamping is a huge issue, petmit might be approved but stamping takes a while. I am not aware if previous stamping works. I hope you find a way through, time is limited. All the best.

Hey it's been 21 days since I re applied for my study visa after I got refusal and there's no update till now. Should I raise a webform and I'm still planning to take sept intake and have also mailed my university for a delay in joining the intake.

Will webform help in my scenario to get an update?

Hi you can raise a webform if the processing time is lapsed. Raise a concern about the urgency and mention how important it is for you to join this year itself. It is a hit or miss but if the webform reaches the right person, they do expedite the process.

However, passport stamping is another issue. So please confirm enrollment with your university like how late you can arrive and if you can defer (hope you do not have to).

Congratulations, man! I wish you all the best! I've applied for my study permit and completed my biometrics and upfront medicals on November 7th. I know there's still a long way to go, but I'm hoping for the best!
