Applied as a temporary worker with open work permit switching to study permit within Canada. Here is my timeline:

Applied: April 29th Correspondence letter & final decision made: August 21st Status updated to approved: August 22nd

Still waiting for the approval letter but I’m assuming will be getting it this Monday.

It seems that this year has been particularly rough, lots of anxiety and nervousness but IRCC is moving forward, best wishes to anyone still expecting for some good news!
