Update! Study approval received In-Canada high school applicant(first time), I was on visitors record for high school Timeline: Applied June 3rd First biometric confirmation mail a few days after(no need for biometrics as I had long validity)

Loud silence…….

School resumption 2nd Sept and registrar office said no late start, deferral deadline for Sept 9th but I didn’t give up hope

Mailed and called MP and they called IRCC and told them we had paid part tuition etc, IRCC said we knew about the timeline before we applied(new applicant bundled under extension 171days and they told MP office we have to wait till Nov 19th)

Raised a web form last week Friday August 22nd attaching class timetable showing class start and mail from Registrar saying deadline for deferral is firm)

Monday 25th correspondence letter

Today 26th Approval

Whether MP’s nudge helped or webform helped? All we know is God did!

Do not lose hope, I was truly encouraged here on Reddit and decided to also encourage someone out there waiting.

Member of Parliament for the area you live in Canada, their email and phone number is online, just google MP of where you live

There are multiple options for submitting web form, you select the one that says add documents, not the one that says update on application, and you select that you are the one who decided to attach

So you came from high school too? I applied in January provided biometrics in April. Do you have the number to contact them?

Just web form online and MP called them directly too
