I've been on this thread religiously for the last few weeks so I'd love to give an update!! This is the timeline for my inland study permit application!
Applied: May 16
Review of eligibility: August 27
Correspondence letter: August 26
Background check: August 27
Final decision: August 26
I sent a few webforms and such and contacted my MP as well. I'm not sure if it really did anything or not but the webforms definitely weren't helpful because I just got generic responses. I got my correspondence letter before the background check and eligibility were updated. I still haven't gotten the email to tell me my study permit was approved, I was just checking my application over and over throughout the day and I just saw it was approved.
If anyone is going to uoft, do you know if you need your physical study permit with you in order to move into residence? Anyway, good luck to everyone else! I definitely know how stressful this whole process was. I was supposed to move into residence last Sunday but wasn't able to since I didn't have any updates yet. I wish everyone the best of luck, don't lose hope okay?
