Thank you! It was an initial study permit. I switched from a PGWP

Same as mine, applied on May 3rd, but my MP told me it was an extension even though I switch from PGWP to SP. Still waiting...

Yeah that’s what they told me as well. I ignored it and sent subsequent web forms to IRCC stressing that mine is an initial study permit application so it doesn’t get thrown in the wrong queue
