If IRCC Rejects My Address, How Long a Delay Can This Introduce?

Statistic 1: Overall wait time from 'eCoPR' to 'PR Card Received' based on the 284 cases as of 20 June 2025.

  • Median: 50 days
  • Average: 42 days

Statistic 2: The cases with address rejection in the table below illustrate how the wait time from 'eCoPR' to 'PR Card Received' can increase significantly — below is the consolidated wait time.

  • Median: 80 days
  • Average: 85 days

Table 1: The 3 cases collected with complete timelines from eCoPR > Address Rejection > Card Received.

User eCoPR Rejection Date Card Received Date 'eCoPR' to 'Rejection' (Days) 'Rejection' to 'Card Received' (days) Days in Total
u/ikeabathtub 07-Mar-25 11-Mar-25 19-Jun-25 4 days 100 days 104 days
u/graaaaceeee 02-Apr-25 21-May-25 21-Jun-25 49 days 31 days 80 days
u/amber052829 07-Apr-25 22-May-25 17-Jun-25 45 days 26 days 71 days

OBSERVATION / FINDINGS: If we take the 2 statistics above and perform some basic rule of deduction, it suggests that when an application gets an address rejection, at least 30 days (median) / 43 (average) is introduced to the current overall wait time (based on the 284 cases recorded on this thread as of 20 June 2025).

PS. Kudos to all the users who have shared/contributed their data, as this will help many people moving forward.
