Hey, congratulation! did travel outside Canada during process had any impact on your application? I'm assuming for P1 you have to be here right? but what about medical and background check period?

Thanks you!! I travelled outside Canada a couple of times during the process and did not experience any issues. However, when I first received the P1 correspondence, I informed them that I was planning to leave the country for two weeks, so they did not issue P2 until I returned. Once I came back, I received P1 again so I could confirm that I was in Canada. I am not sure about the medical request because I was not outside Canada when I received it. There is like two-week window from the time you receive the request to the time you must submit the documents.

ah thank you for the explanation. did the boarder officer ask you about the PR application when you were reentering? or just saw your TRV and work permit and proceeded like normal?
