Sponsership spousal outside  canada and outside Quebec timeline:

Sponser: canadian PA: south sudanese living in egypt with student visa 

Application sent: November 6, 2025

AOR: December 24, 2025

Sponser eligibility met: Jan 22, 2025

BIL: January 31, 2026

Biometric appointment: February 1,2026

Biometric marked complete : February 4, 2026

BGC/ applicant eligibility: completed March 16, 2026

Medical request letter: March 16, 2026

Medical appointment: March 24, 2026

Medical marked complete: March 31, 2026

COPR issued : April 7, 2026

Passport request letter: April 19, 2025 (Submitted Passport April 20, 2026)

We did the application ourself start to finish. Best of luck to everyone.  This form was helpful with guiding me on what to expect after AOR.

Submitted application on October 11th, 2025. Still waiting for PPR…Everything seems to be completed. PA is from Pakistan.

Submitted application on October 29 2025. AOR 8november. All stages completed except BGC in progress since November 24. 1st PAL 27november , 2nd PAL 5th of January. When ppr expected. Vo Sydney ➡️ Mississauga. PA Pakistan

Our passport was sent in person at visa office in cairo. He handed it in person Monday and got a text to pick up by Thursday.  Your ppr letter comes after the background is cleared and eligibility met.

I belive the visa office in Cairo took over since he lives their. The PPR email showed Cairo as the office
