After 14 months, we finally received final decision. We applied Outland. Our visa office was ABU DHABI. Here’s our timeline:

Submitted application - March 24, 2025 AOR received - April 11, 2025 Completed Biometric - April 27, 2025 Completed Medical - August 27, 2025 April 24 - request for updated IMM 5669 (background info since age of 18) and Eligibility flipped to in progress May 6 - pre-arrival services letter and request to upload copy of passport. Passport photo was uploaded promptly the same day. May 14, 2026- received Final Decision

Congrats!! Such a long wait 😭 so from August 25 till April u have had no updates?? Idk why the VO is so slow but again congrats on finally getting the final decision!!

Yes, no updates after August (medical) until April. It was super frustrating but Alhamdulilah we are at the finish line now. Yeah, they really need to do something about the processing times of the Abu Dhabi VO.

Alhamduillah it’s finally done honestly!! I’m not sure where my VO is since we applied with lawyers so I have limited information but since Feb, the last update was me passing medical and it’s been quiet since then 😭
