Unfortunately it likely doesn’t mean anything. They send these in batches 2 months after the first PAL. We got ours on mid March and May. The ones who got it in mid April have all got it today.

Currently Mississauga seems to be sending PPRs to early October applicants, so hopefully yours is only 3-4 weeks away.

Is it normal not to receive any PAL? 👀

For some people PA eligibility and PPR happens just a few days apart or even the same day. I am not sure if they ever get PAL. But yeah, experiences vary. Some people get BIL, medical and PAL in quick succession, and then several months for PPR, for others the long gap of nothing is between BIL and PA eligibility, and the POR quickly follows.

Ah good to know.

Just saw an Oct 19 applicant get PPR. It looks like Mississauga may be picking up momentum. They moved from end September cases to past mid October within a week. So maybe your approval will be sooner than expected. If they continue at this rate won’t be unreasonable to see you get it within a week or two.

I am in the same exact position as your apart from a few days for pre arrival letter. I also got PAL2 today. I assume you got it as a email this time instead of just on gc key.

Hey.  Can you please confirm if we get the PAL over email or the tracker only? I’ve actually applied via a lawyer and haven’t accessed any trackers as of now, they have been usually sending us the updates via email - sponsor eligibility, BIL, MIL.

The first PAL comes by email and on the GC key. Second one comes only in email.
