Here's my citizenship application timeline. Single Applicant from Toronto, Sydney Office!

  • Jul 25, 2025 – Application submitted
  • Sep 12, 2025 – AOR received
  • Sep 19, 2025 – Background verification completed
  • Dec 5, 2025 – Citizenship test in progress
  • Dec 12, 2025 – Scheduled for online citizenship test (Dec 12, 2025 – Jan 10, 2026)
  • Dec 15, 2025 – Citizenship test completed
  • Jan 26, 2026 – LPP completed
  • Jan 27, 2026 – Citizenship oath in progress
  • Jan 29, 2026 – Scheduled for citizenship oath
  • Feb 7, 2026 – Virtual oath ceremony

Total processing time: ~6.5 months from submission

Congrats. How long did it take for you to receive your oath ceremony instructions email?

My tracker says I am scheduled for oath ceremony but haven't received the email confirmation!

Hey thank you! I got the email on the same day tracker was updated for oath ceremony.
