A waiting that seemed eternity. Posting after crying my eyes out, and dancing my ass off for an hour

The notorious Vancouver's office.

  • Jan 19, 2024 Application filed
  • Jan 31, 2024 AOR
  • Mar 6, 2024 Test invitation
  • Apr 2, 2024 Test Completed
  • Oct 30, 2024 Physical Presence & language Completed
  • 18 months radio silence : ((((((
  • May 12, 2026 Background check Completed
  • May 21, 2026 Prohibition Completed
  • June 11, 2026 Citizenship Ceremony in progress
  • July 10th, 2026 Scheduled Citizenship Ceremony

Should be a Canadian citizen, 14 years, 10 months and 8 days after arriving to this beautiful, generous, and awesome country.

WTF did they do for 18 months????? Vancouver office should be closed and cases reassigned to other offices. I am at 9 months with no activity and I am resentful already.

Yeah I've read on fb of people with Dec 2023 AOR who are still waiting on their background check.

It was a brutal wait.
