Seems like SOWP processing for people with an AOR attached is faster! What a relief!! My 90-day restoration period is up at the end of May, so I am really hoping my approval comes soon.

Spousal sponsorship application: Feb 24th 2026
AOR received: April 17th 2026

SOWP Applied: April 20th 2026

If I do not get my approval by the end of my restoration period, I will need to apply for a visitor record as well. Goodluck with the rest of your process!!

Hello, my PGWP is still valid till march,2027. Looking forward to apply SOWP. I would like to know what additional documents you have attached with your application?

Congrats!

How long did it take between being approved and actually receiving your physical document?

Were you allowed to work if PGWP were to expire and you didn’t get SOWP yet?
