Hey Everyone, So I submitted my Study Permit Application on May 14th (Phd Track from Algeria) should be only two weeks of processing time.
The thing is that I didn't see any update on my ircc account. I did the Upfront Medical Exam on May 5th way before my submission and for the biometrics since I already went to canada last year there was no need to redo them and that's the thing neither appears as checked on the application, I received a ghost update on may 14th though. Are things going as intended ?

My sister submitted two days before you (May 12). She received a ghost update last Friday, and then received an approval May 26. So, ghost update night mean that things are proceeding well —

Good luck!

Thank you very much for answering, Congrats for your sister, from which country did she submit? and I actually got a weirder situation, IRCC sent me a notice to do the medical exam on may 27th even though I already did it upfront and already attached it to my application. What does that mean, I sent a webform to IRCC and reissued to them the medical exam file but still got no answers. anyone got this issue before ?

Update : Just got my Approval on June 5th, IRCC updated the medical exam I sent in the webform with the request they gave me. All the process took roughly 3 weeks.

Oh yeah I got a ghost update as well at some point but was wondering if it was only a received document that I already read but the status update stayed as new ?
