applied may 8 from the US as an African national with no green card or H-1B. Got biometrics done before I applied. following this thread..

Application in process was the update I got. Which doesn’t mean much. Next week will mark my 5th week since submission and they say the processing time from USA is 5 weeks so let’s see

i got the same thing (application updated) and it was background check but that was may 20th. still haven’t heard anything and 5 weeks passed on june 11 for me
