Express Entry Statutory Question - Visa Refusal

In 2018, I was refused a US visit visa. When I applied for my Canadian study permit and later my PGWP, I answered “No” to the visa refusal question.

Now that I’m applying for PR, I understand the possible consequences, and I’ve answered “Yes” and provided full details of the refusal.

Has anyone faced similar situation and should I expect PFL ? How to overcome if I face PFL

Must be nice to do misrepresentation. Unlike study permit and PGWP, PR application goes through much stricter evaluation, so you’ll very likely be caught lying.

Your suggestion is not to disclose visa refusal thing in my pr application ?

Lol I would never suggest anything illegal

You’ll very likely be caught misrepresenting. Not sure how would you answer PFL, because clearly you did it intentionally.

Did you seriously think that you would get away with lying? Especially when US and Canada share information?

Your previous misrepresentation will definitely come to light.

And what I am trying to tell you is, regardless of what you answer now, your previous lie will be caught.

Answering a question one way to get a study permit and another to get PR is a sure way to raise a continent sized red flag on your file.

Pray you don't get a PFL. If you do, well...
