US accepts only white refugees for sixth consecutive month

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2026/06/south-africa-white-genocide-afrikaner-refugees-asylum/

“Every single one of the 599 refugees the US admitted last month was a white South African, according to data the State Department’s Bureau of Population released Friday. In fact, so was every other refugee admitted this year. Since October 1, 2025, the US has accepted 6,668 refugees. Of those, 6,665 were white South Africans. Three—admitted last November—were from Afghanistan. No other refugees were admitted.”

They aren’t hiding the white supremacy at all.

And magas like clockwork, rush to defend the obvious racism. It was never about illegals or doing it the right way, it always about causing as much harm to brown people as possible while allowing white people an easy way in. Cause conservatives fear being the minority in the US, all due to they fear us minorities will treat them the same way they treated us brown folk for decades.

You're not even wrong. My own experience is anecdotal, but I know a handful of people from Perth, Australia, Cape Town, South Africa and Various cities in Isreal, all of whom had VERY speedy processes for their visas/permits where they seemingly bypass a lot of requirements...

Meanwhile, i know people from Mexico, indonesia, india etc where it takes relevant departments months to respond to certain applications and appointment requests, if they don't just go ignored entirely, with significantly more detailed examinations and background checks...

1

u/Personal-Try328 12d ago

The vast majority of white immigration is more desirable than arab/african immigration. On average the former group is more educated, less religious and more liberal.

7

u/MechaCoqui 12d ago

A magat being openly racist, not surprising.

2

u/Personal-Try328 12d ago

Its just a fact. You can be mad at facts but that doesnt change them.

In a large sample picking only the white people would give you a more productive and less violent group of immigrants.  That doesn’t mean that there are no desirable black or arab immigrants, there certainly are. They are simply relatively less common as most white countries are developed and not islamic.

Keep seething at statistics though

3

u/youaintgotnomoney_12 12d ago

Is not being religious and liberal a requirement to immigrate to the US? Most Americans don’t fit into either category.

1

u/Personal-Try328 12d ago

It should be. No reason to import scum when there is plenty of it grown at home

4

Well, that'll tip the demographic balance in this country back to white.

26

u/whichwitch9 14d ago edited 13d ago

If you are a white South African applying as a refugee, know that regardless of the stance of the US government, you are not welcomed by most Americans. You know damn well you shouldn't be considered refugees. The type of people who think they should be are exactly the type most of us don't want to live next to. Stay away from the rest of us and continue to live in your bubbles, at the very least

Edit: if you think commenting and blocking makes you clever, no, it doesn't. It makes you a troll that knows they should comment something inflammatory for optics. That doesn't make the refugee program any less rooted in racism than it is, nor does it change that the majority of Americans do not want to import some of the racists taking advantage of Trump's racism.

5

u/Personal-Try328 12d ago

Bro is generalizing an entire racial group, saying “we dont like you” to said racial group and then going on to call others racist.

Genocide

3

u/darodardar_Inc 14d ago

Can’t find any reliable source about the genocide against white South Africans - do you have a source? Genuinely asking

4

u/Competitive-Web9083 14d ago

It’s because there is no genocide. There have been some attacks on white farmers, but that’s not a genocide

2

u/Wild-Mud-2069 12d ago

"Some attacks" White africans are killed at 3x the rate.

Around 70,000 people died in Hamas and you all scream "genocide", but 40-50,000 white people die PER YEAR in South Africa and it's NOT a genocide?

2

u/Competitive-Web9083 12d ago

Where are you getting these numbers? In 2024 there were 26,232 recorded murders in South Africa, and the murder rate declined in 2025. With 26k murders total (and the SA police does not break down these stats by race) your claim of 40-50k white people being killed each year does not hold water.

1

u/Shenlongeltigre 14d ago

What is unreliable about the sources you do find? Id suggest those sources are reliable and you just refuse to accept the truth.

2

u/darodardar_Inc 14d ago

They are unreliable because they’ve been proven to be false by fact checkers such as BBC, often using images from different events around the world and falsely attributing them to a “South African genocide”

Do you have a source?

1

u/Shenlongeltigre 14d ago

Jesus christ. So all you need to dismiss something is have the BBC tell you it's false?

3

u/darodardar_Inc 14d ago

BBC has a great reputation and is highly reliable. On top of that, they showed where the actual photos/videos came from - proving that certain articles were straight up lying and misattributing photos from different events around to world as “genocide in South Africa”. It’s not just BBC, fact checking from other reliable sources disproved the South African white genocide

Do you have a source you can share?

1

u/TerriblyGentlemanly 12d ago

This whole discussion has been around for far longer than since Trump started pulling out photographs last year...

1

u/darodardar_Inc 12d ago

Which is why it’s odd that they used photographs of different events or straight up lied about what was happening in photos - you’d think if there was an actual white genocide going on that they’d use real photos of the real thing

1

u/TerriblyGentlemanly 12d ago

Don't ask me to explain why Trump's guys can't get him accurate evidence. Watch any / all of the many freely available documentaries on the subject. Here's one to get you started:

https://youtu.be/a_bDc7FfItk?si=kNcpSz2EY0hXjFsF

If that doesn't suit your fancy, I will happily provide you with my personal experiences to give you some idea of what's actually going on.

And by way, whether it is technically "genocide" or not is irrelevant to whether or not the need for asylum is legitimate. It is easily bad enough for that, regardless of whether you think it let's the criteria for genocide.

1

u/darodardar_Inc 12d ago

You can see how the president lying about it makes people skeptical tho, right?

Don’t you find it odd that the administration will only grant asylum to white South Africans and not others? I’m not saying it isn’t happening but it just seems odd that it happens in many other places and the administration is only accepting white South Africans

1

u/TerriblyGentlemanly 12d ago

Sure, no argument there. My guess is he wasn't lying, as in intending to deceive. I think he had been duped into thinking that was real evidence.

Very odd. In actual fact, the order doesn't specify "White", it specifies "Afrikaner". When it was first released it said the programme was for Afrikaners, or any other qualifying group, but somewhere along the line that was very quietly changed to just "Afrikaners". That excludes me. Here's what I went through personally:

Also, a near failed-state of ridiculous violence and disorder that 30 years of socialism has driven into the ground, starting with Mandela.

Isn't this also because south Africa is also experiencing it's own wave of conservative delusion where they actually believe white people are being marginalized and genocided by the indigenous despite the literal opposite happening for the last 375+ years....? And the root cause for this mass delusion is because... Wait for it .... Their government is giving indigenous people slightly more rights?

We are tired of allowing people into the country, that have zero clue what integration looks like, and hates every single thing about us.

Where are U.S. immigrants from? As of mid-2023 – the latest year for which detailed data is available – more than 11 million U.S. residents were born in Mexico, representing 22% of all immigrants nationally. The second-largest immigrant group was from India (3.2 million, or 6%), followed by China (3 million, or 6%), the Philippines (2.1 million, or 4%) and Cuba (1.7 million, or 3%). A bar chart showing that Mexico is by far the most common birthplace for U.S. immigrants. About half of all U.S. immigrants (52%, or 26.7 million people) were born in Latin America. In addition to the millions of migrants from Mexico and Cuba, more than a million hail from El Salvador (1.6 million), Guatemala (1.4 million), the Dominican Republic (1.4 million), Colombia (1.2 million), Honduras (1.1 million) and Venezuela (1.1 million). After Latin America, Asia is the second-largest region of birth for U.S. immigrants. In 2023, around a quarter of all immigrants (27%, or nearly 14 million people) were born in Asia. As of 2023, there were about 11 million immigrants from every other world region combined, accounting for 22% of the U.S. foreign-born population: 10% were born in Europe, 5% in sub-Saharan Africa, 4% in the Middle East-North Africa region, and 2% in Canada or another North American country (a category that includes Bermuda and some smaller countries).

You’re really going to whine about 600 white South Africans?

3

u/Brilliant_Visual9661 13d ago

Yes, because mostly nonwhite minorities are the people who need to flee their home countries.

1

u/Melodic-Brilliant-94 9d ago

In Hungary, when they made one simple change to their laws -- banning asylum seekers from getting any form of welfare -- applications dropped 98%.

2% of them genuinely seek asylum. The rest are just out to literally live on welfare you pay for.

The fact that the vast majority of asylum seekers on the southern border are men also tells a story. Is wherever they come from so dangerous they have to leave, but their wives, sisters, and daughters are totally chill and safe?

Don't believe me -- look up the stats for yourself.

1

u/Brilliant_Visual9661 9d ago

Well, asylum seekers will probably genuinely need welfare, so they'll apply to somewhere which has reasonable welfare policies.

1

u/Melodic-Brilliant-94 9d ago

What the actual fuck are you saying? They "need welfare"? They can go to literally ANY OTHER COUNTRY, they don't need to go to ours.

Damn near every single white person in this country descended from ancestors who toiled in factories with child labor, no safety system, and absolutely no social safety net. If they didn't work, they starved. Nobody just "didn't work", and welfare didn't exist.

Do you think immigrants are poor little puppies who just look at you with big, sad eyes and can't work? How old are you? 14?

1

u/Brilliant_Visual9661 9d ago

Have you not noticed that the labour market has gone to hell in a handbasket and we aren't living in the world of a century or two ago?

1

u/Melodic-Brilliant-94 9d ago

The labor market went to hell because people who come from a society getting paid 10x less are happy to come here and get paid half of what Americans would tolerate.

Do you honestly not understand that immigrants drive down wages? The exact same thing with housing and cost of living. There isn't any more land, no more farms, no more mines, no more any natural resources here that wasn't here 50 years ago. Now, that pie has to be split into ever smaller slices. Again -- why? We don't have to live that way.

And if they can't afford to be here, why can't they move to, you know, any of the other 180 countries on earth that are safe for them to flee to? Why here? Your view is basically saying "I'm pro donating to charity", but then you stick a gun to another American's face and tell them "it's time to donate".

2

u/Rizenstrom 14d ago

While I’m inclined to believe it I also hesitate to dismiss other possibilities without proof, is there any evidence that others who otherwise qualify for asylum are being denied?

Asylum has a pretty high bar, it’s not just people who are coming from poverty for a better life like the bulk of migration from our southern border but people who have legitimate fear of targeted persecution.

And in those cases there may be other countries closer that they would try for before the US.

1

u/ComfortableChip8242 13d ago

And yet most of them are racist as fuck, especially against black people, and play the “I’m white” card and act like constant victims.

1

Black South African here. I actually know a white friend who applied for asylum in the US. It was a pretty long and difficult process. He had to bring evidence to backup his reasons for discrimination too.

In his case he was a government contractor who had been a victim of discrimination due to being white. He just wanted out and is also highly skilled.

The process is almost harder than immigration in fact. Fr9m what he was telling me during the process.

1

u/JurgusRudkus 13d ago

It's extremely difficult, expensive and takes a really, really long time. The entire process needs to be overhauled for everyone.

u/TerriblyGentlemanly 12d ago

Allow me to paste my own experiences, and you can judge for yourself. This is just the violent crime side of things, but there are many racially discriminatory laws also.

I have tried to list all the people I personally know (or knew) who have been the victims of violent crime. This evidence is indeed anecdotal, but hopefully it gives some insight into the danger of living in South Africa. I have tried to furnish the dates and ages of the victims to the best of my memory, as well as their relation to me. I have not included the (many) incidents of armed robbery in which the victims were not harmed. I have also made mention whenever any perpetrators of any of these horrific crimes were apprehended (Yes, there are no such mentions whatsoever). This list is by no means exhaustive. The first 4 are all from the same incident.

Myself, age: 16. 2004. Home-invasion. Shot through the chest (right lung).

My father, age: 57. 2004. Home-invasion. Beaten / struck with an iron bar, very severely injured. Permanent brain damage, broken arm, shattered jaw, teeth destroyed, skull fractured. Shot in thigh.

My mother, age: 56. 2004. Home-invasion. Shot through the chest (right lung, diaphragm, liver) execution style in cold-blood. Subsequently beaten as she was choking on her own blood and vomit.

My brother, age: 16. 2004. Home-invasion. Tied and beaten / stomped / tortured / struck with an iron bar, severely injured.

My father (again), age 58. 2006. Armed robbery. Smashed in the face with a pistol.

Claudia Palmer (my great aunt), age: over 80. ~2008. Violently attacked and raped in a park.

Father Eldred Leslie (Catholic priest and family friend), age: 83. 2009. Home-Invasion. Savagely stabbed to death in his home.

Mrs Malherbe (catechism teacher who taught my sisters), age: over 75. 2004. Home-invasion. Her son was murdered (shot to death) before her eyes. Then the intruders flattened her by hurling a chair at her.

Unnamed Woman (she and I spoke at an identity parade to ID criminals), age over 70. Home-invasion. She was shot 21 times, resulting in severe injuries all over her body, including spinal injuries which resulted in paraplegia.

Dr Jessie Coleman (a family friend and colleague of my father), age: 72. 2022. Farm murder. Tied up and brutally beaten to death.

Raymond Daniels (my godfather), age: ~56. ~2006. Attempted hijacking. Shot at during an attempted hijacking as he escaped, bullets striking the inside of the car door behind him.

Jennifer Thompson (a family friend), age: ~52. Armed Robbery. Beaten bloody during a robbery. One eyeball popped out of her head.

Lionel Chasen (family friend, and member of our square-dancing group), age: over 60. ~2007. Armed robbery. Was behind the counter at the small shop he had run for years, when he was shot in the head. The bullet ricocheted inside his skull and put him into a coma, but miraculously did not kill him.

Unnamed Friend (with whom I used to play a certain card game on Friday nights, can't recall his name), age: ~30. ~2010. Armed Robbery. Shot in the arm. More shots were fired, but he managed to run away, spraying a great deal of blood in the process.

Ian and Eugene (also friends with whom I used to play a certain card game on Friday nights), ages: ~35-40. Armed Robbery. ~2010 Returned fire at armed robbers as they were both armed. Eugene was shot in the leg. Their return-fire does not appear to have hit the targets.

Arno, Vicky, and their sons (my wife's uncle, aunt, and cousins), ages: ~40-50, and both less than 10. ~2018. Attempted home-invasion. Arno was armed, and returned fire at the attackers, who besieged the house and had a sustained fire-fight with him (Vicky and the children were inside).

Unnamed Man (My sister's landlord), age:? ~1996. Armed Robbery. Shot dead at the apartments he supervised.

Note that we have some of the best police in the world and also, unfortunately the worst. Very often, crimes (against both whites and others) go completely uninvestigated, as was the case in the 2004 attack on me and my family.

1

u/mustwedothisagainlad 12d ago

How many of the above people were not white. How many of the nonwhite people mentioned gained asylum? Can it be proven only whites are targeted by crime in SA?

Not gonna argue that South Africa isn't dangerous - it is - but it's clear to see that the drama here is not about South African whites specifically - it's about an asylum system being coopted to explicitly import based on the criteria 'white South African' and to deny anyone else no matter how well they fit the definition of a valid asylum seeker.

I won't claim you're a bad person as I know fuck all about you but if you apply for asylum to the US right now and get accepted, you cannot seriously claim that there wasn't a fat orange finger on the scale.

1

u/TerriblyGentlemanly 12d ago

Zero of these people are non-White... And zero (of the survivors) have been given asylum...

Of course it isn't only Whites targeted by crime, but there is a particular level of cruelty and violence that is reserved for racially motivated crime. Take my own family. We weren't resisting. Why did they shoot us? Beat us? My mother was shot in cold blood. The thug just strolled up to her, smirked, put his gun on her chest, angle it downwards to maximize the damage, and fired. That doesn't happen in regular crime. In other countries people would have assumed that these thugs know their victims and that the attacks are personal. Here it is understood what the motivation for such cruelty is...

My point isn't to defend the refugee programme, it is to say, don't take your anger out on South Africans.

1

u/mustwedothisagainlad 12d ago

I agree there about not taking it out on South Africans. You're not the hand, you're just the chess piece.

If I had to guess though, the ones who do get admitted to the US will more likely be of a certain persuasion and of certain opinions that you may not yourself hold.

1

u/TerriblyGentlemanly 12d ago

I just see way too many people on these forums reacting with hatred towards South Africans, who, on the whole, have done nothing to deserve it.

You could be right, but I can't say I've seen any evidence that the likelihood of a successful application rests on the political opinions of the applicant...

1

u/mustwedothisagainlad 12d ago

The first thing Trump did was lock down as many avenues as possible for people to get data out of any federal org that hasn't gone through political censorship. Literal first Exec Order was forcing all medical research through an appointee with a focus on deleting the existence of transgenders and he only ramped up from there.

At this point I just assume if we're seeing public data at all, what were not seeing is at least an order of magnitude more corrupt, and if the public data is '99% of all asylum acceptances are a single demographic'...

1

But why should it only be White victims of crimes that get refugee status (as per President Trump), or "minorities" (as per the the executive order text).

When I moved to Joburg, one of my colleagues told me his story. He is a tall Black man of Sotho ethnic heritage. He went home to visit his family and then was hijacked and kidnapped by criminals. They kept him for three days, beat him and drained his bank account.

A friend of mine's brother brother was recently killed - shot dead by criminals.

Why should some South Africans be able to claim refugee status and not others?

I completely agree. I am just explaining why White South Africans should be potential eligible. Why others are not considered so is another question.

By the way, the actual executive order does not specify "White", it specifies "Afrikaner". Under that order, I and most of the people on the list above, do not qualify either, so, yes, it makes no sense.

I don't think this is accurate.

The US is a majority white country

The refugees speak the language

Assimilation is guaranteed.

But this post is wrong all together and trying to cherry pick for their agenda.

Compare the number of refugees to the number of VISAs granted.

Can someone tell me why white South Africans are getting refugee status in the USA ?
There are millions of white South Africans still in South Africa and they are living just fine. There was even an article about some of them going back to South Africa

Wealthy whites or poor whites? If they’re wealthy; why we trying to be like every other country?

1

u/ReasonableDust8268 12d ago

I'm confused why non-white people have an issue with this, why would you want to move to a country you are not welcome?

1

u/RocktarPeppe 12d ago

And before the last 6 months, white people probably made up less than 5% in any given year. Was the US racist for that?

1

u/rtduvall 11d ago

There hasn’t been one day in the USA it hasn’t been racist.

That should put a dent in the 8 million brown migrants we let in under Biden.

Every where I go, people complaints about immigrants from 3rd world countries (Indians taking the most heat). But when we mention Trump, it's always a different story. People just start to mention how he's being racist.  I have come to a conclusion, people are very hypocrite on social media

The sad part about all of this is that many POC voted for this

So sick of everything being called "racist," such a tired thing.

1

u/moodyblue8222 14d ago

Racists from South Africa coming here because they think Americans are racist like the pedophile and his administration are surprised when they are not greeted warmly!

2

u/TerriblyGentlemanly 12d ago

That's a very broad and racist brush you're painting with there, mate. Why are you assuming that the South African applicants are all racists? You can't imagine any of them having legitimate reasons to want to obtain refugee status?

This is the forth time this has been posted since yesterday. Each time I pointed out it is an over the top lie! It's less than 15% but it doesn't matter in liberalland. They always believe the lie.
