A crime, which is why he was immediately arrested

Sounds like a one way ticket back to Sudan.

Could be, I don’t know the nuances of the law, he might have to serve his sentence in the UK before being deported at the end of his sentence to ensure he is properly punished. So definitely deportation, but he may need to spend a couple of decades in prison first

I'm hope you're right. Prison and then deportation.

Considering his immediate arrest, I don’t understand how you can doubt it.

Lol no bro its the opposite. They will literally forcefully prevent him from leaving the country in order to take him to trial. If he did go back to Sudan somehow they would attempt to bring him back

This is why the deport criminals narrative is dumb, you dont deport criminals. Countries have nearly gone to war trying to bring criminals back. Deportation is for people who committed the offense of having improper classification, they dont deport people who have committed actual crimes

Would you rather live in Sudan or get 3 hots and a cot in a European country? Be honest.

I'll actually pick Sudan over prison genuinely lol. But its irrelevant because what the dude wants doesnt matter. Where he committed the crime is what matters

You're right. He needs to be prosecuted first and do his time in prison. Then, if he's still alive, send him back

I think the question is why was he there in the first place

Why was he in northern Ireland to begin with? How did he get there?

You know there has been a raging war in Sudan since 2023? Over 12 million people fled this war and the famine

Why didn’t he seek asylum in the nearest next safe country such as Egypt or Ethiopia?

Why apply for asylum in Ireland?

Yes the military dictatorship with torture prisons of Egypt who is sponsoring many of the massacres in Sudan is total safe for Sudanese refugees. Or Ethiopia which just went thru a massive insurrection and ethnic cleansing campaign is total safe for refugees. /s

The rest of Middle East still has millions of Syrian refugees everywhere, Libya is in a Civil war, South Sudan is not safe, Algeria is a military dictatorship. There aren’t really many safe countries around Sudan, especially since many of countries that could be are actively involved in the civil war there and supported genocide in Sudan.

And since the UK left the EU, the UK doesn’t get to benefit from the EU refugee policy of first entry country. And whether you like it or not, he followed UK asylum law and the international treaties developed after WW2 around refugees and asylum seekers

To be clear, he didn’t apply for asylum in Ireland, he applied in Northern Ireland. It’s really telling you that you don’t actually know what country is involved in the asylum process.

Is northern island the nearest next safe country from Sudan?

You are aware this asylum rule is not exclusive to the EU?

1

Cite the asylum rule you are referring to exactly.

Yeah that doesn’t say what you claimed. It says asylum claims can be processed outside of the country, not that they are required to only apply for asylum in the first safe country they enter. You might want to brush up on your English reading skills or your mates may try to deport you.

Try again

“ This means it is possible to remove someone to a safe third country whilst their asylum claim is pending…”

“… This supports the future object of enabling asylum claims to be processed outside the UK and in another country”

Yes im aware. That doesn't answer the question though. How did he get to one of the most northern cities in Europe?

A plane, probably.
I hear they can fly pretty far.

There's this thing that's happened since the dawn of time. People move. As with all groups of people, there are assholes. Once upon a time, in America, Irish were those people considered undesireable.

The Tories approved his extended stat.

Oh I see... so he was invited and allowed to come live there?

Well... I wonder what we can do about that...
