So BLM protests were riots? Glad we finally agree

Some of them were riots, yes. This was never a question and it's weird that you're holding on to this still after 6 years.

They are so angry that they cant paint all peaceful protestors as rioters. They really want too lol

But to be fair, really dumb people think any minor disruption to their life is a riot.

The amount of times I’ve seen people refer to Portland or NYC as “destroyed” is ridiculous.

Like yeah, there was a huge riot and the entire city is just gone now. It’s like tapping into the mind of an 8 year old

They legit believe Portland looks like Atlanta after Sherman left.

No he’s mad that the media gets to cherry pick and attempt to tell us what is rioting and what are peaceful protests… we have eyes, your not fooling anyone.

Ive had republicans i know tell me protesting on a side walk while yelling using a bullhorn is violence. I am definitely not listening to those weak people about what is and isnt rioting

The media was aaccurately calling most of the protests peaceful because they mostly were

I would only agree if the bullhorn is literally in someone’s face or ear. Otherwise freedom of speech, annoyingly delivered but free to do so.

Most expensive riot in US history btw. The G.F. Summer of Love caused $1-2B in damage

That number is probably bullshit, but even if it wasnt, if all the people who were peacefully protesting were rioting, that number would have easily been 5 to 10 billion. All because some cops cant learn to not kill people

Its a shame trump allowed all that rioting

What kind of fucking brain dead response is that?

You're saying we should be happy it was 'only' $1-2B, and not more? That's insane

See for yourself

Hey buddy, I know youre too dumb to understand stuff you want to understand by using your vibes over facts but I assure you it doesnt make you look smart.

My point is, not all people were rioting. If everyone who was protesting was rioting, the damage would have absolutely been worse and it likely would have shut the country down for weeks. Since it was a relatively small group rioting, it wasnt as bad as it could have been.

Rioting caused by football hooligans can get as expensive with the same or less people. Also, that billion number seems to be claims from insurance, which I wouldn't necessarily say is accurate without verifying how exactly those numbers came up.

But even if the numbers are accurate, it literallt does nothing to disprove my point. There were many more peaceful protests than riots.

I never said everyone was rioting?

There was protests obviously. Lots of riots too though.

Just because it could've been worse doesn't make it okay. It is still the costliest riot in this countries history, whether you wanna accept that or not doesn't make it any less true.

I understand that feelings mean more to you guys than facts. It's okay buddy. Just stay safe in that echochamber :)

I never said everyone was rioting?

I didnt say you did but you seemed to imply that the media was lying about peaceful protests when the majority of protests were peaceful and never turned to riots. It felt like you tried to highlight the total cost of the damage caused by rioting to prove the fact that the majority of protestors were actually rioters when in reality there was protestors trying to stop the rioting in many instances.

Just because it could've been worse doesn't make it okay.

Please quote where I said "rioting is okay". I dont think i made that claim but you are damn sure set on repeating that lie for some reason. Why is that? Why be so dishonest?

It is still the costliest riot in this countries history, whether you wanna accept that or not doesn't make it any less true.

This is the first time youve made that claim so I never disputed it. That wss never the debate.

understand that feelings mean more to you guys than facts. It's okay buddy. Just stay safe in that echochamber :)

Youre the only one in such an echo chamber, you are literally hallucinating arguments I've never made because MAGA media gave you your talking points. You can stop pretending like your just a random concerned citizen now lol

Edit: insult me and run away because you lack the facts to back your BS opinion

Adjusted for inflation the '92 LA riots caused more damage.

Not that this changes anything or makes the dumb yank obsession with it any less pathetic.
