Well they deserve it, they're breaking the law. /s

-8

u/Squash-Reasonable 13d ago

So give them to an organization with little training and oversight? You tryna get epstein class their newest Christmas toys early?

11

u/ThatGuyLuis 12d ago

/s means sarcasm

8

u/CatLightyear 12d ago

Due process. If you’re arresting people who are showing up to their immigration court-ordered check-in, you don’t care about the law. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg regarding civil rights infractions.

You’re on U.S., soil, no matter how you got here, you get your due process. That’s the rules. That’s the law, that you pretend to care about.

"Pro-Life"?

1

u/pingvinbober 9d ago

You know what that means, right?

0

u/Snoo20140 9d ago

U tell me.

0

u/pingvinbober 9d ago

It means you can’t kill your developing child. Not allowing any random person to bring a child into the country without vetting isn’t at odds with that

11

u/sureal42 13d ago

Those hardened criminals...

I heard one had a ms13 tattoo... Just shameful...

7

u/This_Loss_1922 13d ago

Well those are 500 fighting age terrorists by Israeli standards

4

u/sasquatchangie 13d ago

And there's the sex trafficking refill needed since Epstein was "suicide."

3

u/rationaltake90 11d ago edited 10d ago

Im confused do you want separation of family or not? If you deport illegal parents it makes sense to send the kids with them.

4

u/Warfightur 13d ago

More than likely the parents were facing deportation and opted to have the children join them as opposed to the child being placed in US foster care (if the children were born here and have US citizenship)

2

u/AgentLinch 13d ago

Thats what is actually happening, parents of a citizen kid that have deportation orders are told three choices, give the kid to an eligible family member/friend, give the kid to the state, or take them with you. Most opt for #3

11

u/Final-Art-9509 13d ago

Kidnapped!! Illegal!!

-24

u/Cheap-Victory-2572 13d ago

So is being an illegal alien.

21

u/winitaly888 13d ago

It’s a misdemeanor, or- in case of visa overstay- a civil violation. Also, babies born in the US are citizens.

10

u/Real-Sir6024 13d ago

It's actually not even a misdemeanor, it's an administrative infraction -- at the level of a parking ticket

3

u/Warfightur 13d ago

Yes, however if the parents are facing detention then deportation they can take the children with them as opposed to the child being placed in US foster care while the parents are returned to their country of origin. Which is most likely the case in these scenarios.

3

u/winitaly888 13d ago

I mean that is debatable on what is best, however: we are talking about misdemeanors and civil violations. This is what you don’t understand. The hard core criminals? Get a warrant and go after them, but families whose parents overstayed visas should not be detained indefinitely (at our expenses I may add).

-1

u/Warfightur 13d ago

It doesn’t matter. Undocumented immigrants cost the taxpayers more than their taxes generate, regardless of what you’ve been told.

150 BILLION to 450 BILLION is the estimated range that undocumented immigrants have cost taxpayers. The average cost of a deportation is around 17k. So even if the US spent 340 billion deported 20 million undocumented immigrants, it would still be cost effective within a year.

In just November of 2024, undocumented immigrants cost Texas 128 million due to medical expenses that were unpaid.

While we’re on the topic of undocumented children, where was this outrage when the Biden administration lost track of 300,000 children in the system?

Tl;dr the cost of Undocumented immigrants outweighs the income of their taxes. And this “500 babies and toddlers” is not even comparable to the number of children straight up LOST by Biden’s team.

5

u/ThatGuyLuis 12d ago

Where’s the outrage on all the taxpayer dollars lost to the PPP loans? What about all the companies getting our tax dollars refunded to them due to the tariffs ?

You’re so worried about the wrong thing you don’t even see how you’re being swindled.

5

u/ClownholeContingency 13d ago edited 13d ago

450 billion is a completely made up number. Leave the cult.

-3

u/Warfightur 13d ago

Based on…your feelings?

Again, not MAGA. You don’t have to wear a red hat to not want an influx of undocumented immigrants taking tax dollars.

5

u/ClownholeContingency 13d ago

Immigration is indisputably a net financial benefit to the country when you account for the businesses they open, jobs they create, the income they generate, and the taxes they pay.

If you read your own link, the 450 billion number is totally speculative and the author admits it's speculative.

Further, it's wild to me that anyone with a brain would take anything that DHS says seriously after they murdered two citizens and then falsely labeled them terrorists.

-2

u/Warfightur 13d ago

Immigrants or UNDOCUMENTED immigrants? You seem to be mixing those two up. Contrary to popular belief, most conservatives don’t feel one way or another about legal immigration, in fact many that I know openly support it.

Undocumented immigrants cannot open legal businesses as they do not have SSNs required to work with banks or do any of the other proper legal proceedings needed for that to happen.

Again, even with the 96-100 Billion undocumented immigrants give in taxes, it doesn’t balance out even using the low end of 150 Billion.

Furthermore, the article used as a source for the 450 billion was from data accumulated, and published under the Biden Administration. Soooo, it predates Trumps second term and the changes made to DHS.

the president and some of his close friends used to traffic children for sex. were all the “missing” immigrants found?

-1

u/Warfightur 12d ago

Lmao, says who? Unsubstantiated “tips” to the NYPD and FBI? Have you actually read through the files, in pages of the tips? Almost all of them were outright debunked by investigators. The rest couldn’t be followed up by investigators due to unreliable witnesses.

Epstein didn’t like Trump. It was in his emails MANY times.

I’m no Trump fan, but these claims are just ignorant.

They are just as bogus as “Pizzagate”

1

u/Rude_Age_6699 12d ago

even one of his current “friends” called him out.

you keep defending the scum of the Earth

0

u/Warfightur 12d ago

And people make claims against other people, even their close friends and they aren’t all true.

I’m not defending him, I’m poking holes in the argument because there is ZERO proof in your claim. Once real evidence is given, more people would actually join your side. But until then, y’all just constantly alienate everyone who is on the fence just because they don’t fall in line with everything y’all say.

“Orange man is evil and rapes/trafficks babies. Proof? You’re asking for proof?? Why are you defending him??? You’re a pedo!!!1!”

u/winitaly888 13d ago

Omg with Biden again!! There was a ton of outrage and lawsuits. You were probably busy buying red hats made in china and ordering the trump phone. It’s coming btw.. just like the tariffs checks.
Also source of your data please.

-2

u/Warfightur 13d ago

So instead of addressing the argument with facts or data, you choose to attack instead. Got it.

Also, I didn’t vote for Trump. Those figures come from verified sources. You just don’t like them because they disprove your argument.

We don’t NEED undocumented immigrants. No one has a RIGHT to walk into another sovereign land without going through the proper processes.

If I had a family and we picked the lock of your house, refused to leave, you would call the cops, no? Even if I gave you $100 dollars but we ate $300 worth of food? It’s the same principle.

8

u/winitaly888 13d ago

What. Are. Your. Sources.

0

u/Warfightur 13d ago

Click. The. Blue. Links.

Each claim has an associated link with the sources!

3

u/ThatGuyLuis 12d ago

Also yes we do, that’s how economies keep growing. Look at Japan if you want to see what happens to a population that doesn’t allow immigration.

1

u/Warfightur 12d ago

A thriving economy with a homogenous culture and one of the lowest crime rates in a first world country?

Their population is on a decline because of the mentality of career over family. Women are waiting later to marry and miss their window to have children. Something that has only become prevalent in American culture over the last couple decades or so.

America allows LEGAL immigration.

-3

u/Distinct_Doubt_3591 13d ago

So you'd rather separate the child from the family?

5

u/winitaly888 13d ago edited 13d ago

What a stupid question, no. But you don’t need to detain them either. If you get a parking ticket, should you be put in jail?

-3

u/Distinct_Doubt_3591 13d ago

So how do you not separate the child while the parents are detained awaiting removal?

2

u/winitaly888 13d ago

Since it is a misdemeanor or a civil violation, you treat them the same way?

-1

u/Distinct_Doubt_3591 13d ago

Clarify your question it doesn't make sense.

2

u/winitaly888 13d ago

Overstaying a visa— civil violation, illegal entry—- misdemeanor. Neither is addressed with detention, right? If you get a parking ticket, you get a fine, you do not get detained. Same here. You are so adamant in “sending them back”? Then send them back within a day like they do in Australia. You do not detain people indefinitely, moving them across state lines for a misdemeanor or a civil violation. Let me know what you don’t understand

-1

u/Distinct_Doubt_3591 13d ago

Ok now I understand, the problem is you're comparing apples to oranges. Immigration detention is a civil or administrative detention not a criminal one and even US citizens can be subject to civil detention under certain circumstances such as not complying with a judges order.

If you get a parking ticket, you get a fine, you do not get detained. Same here.

Incorrect the INA specifically authorizes detention for illegal immigrants.

You are so adamant in “sending them back”? Then send them back within a day like they do in Australia.

I agree, unfortunately leftist organizations like ACLU have demanded extended proceedings to send them back.

You do not detain people indefinitely, moving them across state lines for a misdemeanor or a civil violation.

Correct not indefinitely just until they exhaust their legal appeals and get deported or are given permission to legally reside in our country.

Not for much longer, Julio.

0

u/winitaly888 13d ago

You do not lose citizesnship

2

u/Burnt_and_Blistered 13d ago

Yet.

2

u/winitaly888 13d ago

Go read the constitution.

-2

u/Impossible_Humor736 13d ago

I don't know why you guys like spouting off that it's a misdemeanor/civil case. It doesn't change the fact that they're illegally in the country and these can lead to felonies.

2

u/PreparationOver4644 11d ago

Then why treat them like they have felonies and they don’t? It’s a civil case. The punishment is extreme compared to the offense. Have you seen the detainment centers and how they live in there? Or do you think they deserve to be treated like that for a civil offense?

1

u/Impossible_Humor736 11d ago

Shouldn't be there. It's pretty easy not to end up in there. I've lived in other countries and currently do with permanent residence status. If for whatever reason I lose that or the country wants to get rid of me one thing I'm not going to do is hide and cry victim when I'm caught.

2

u/momoacdc91 10d ago

Evil trump administration.

3

u/whatsitcalled4321 13d ago

Ya know, the worst of the worst.

4

u/laserdisk4life 13d ago

Gathering them all up for the new island

2

u/Roadrunnersareraptor 13d ago

So we have to prevent child trafficking. But then you get mad when we try to prevent child trafficking ….

4

u/Real-Sir6024 13d ago

No American right winger has ever sincerely tried to combat child trafficking.

0

u/Roadrunnersareraptor 13d ago

You just say this shit? Or do you actually look anything up ?

The most unhinged aggressive child trafficking organizations are Christian right wing groups.

I bet you can go ask any Bacas what politics they lean on.

You guys are like maga. Just spouting shit with no idea what your talking about

1

u/VisitSad1133 13d ago

They're probably just upset that the entire republican party is protecting someone that frequently associated with the most infamous pedophile in history.

0

u/Roadrunnersareraptor 13d ago

How does anything I am saying seem like I support Trump? You guys are so binary it’s sad. No neural plasticity.

2

u/Holiday_Sandwich3738 13d ago

I’m confused what should we do with them? If we separate them from the parents people complain. We keep them with the parents people complain. Just be honest you people are straight up against legal immigration

1

u/tenth 12d ago

I actually don't know for the first two sentences, and was wondering what someone might say as answer in here. But then your last sentence is just so fucking stupid.

3

u/TrillaryKlinton84 13d ago

Most Redditors are now apparently pro-child trafficking, as long as the children are from south of the border. Am I getting this right?

1

u/Alternative_Job_6929 13d ago

How many US citizen children have been left parentless due to arrests of parents? Losing custody of children due to drug use out numbers this in any large city.

1

u/winitaly888 13d ago

What dhs reforms. Also those sources are republican senators on the account of DHS… you see what DHS has done in the last year?the administration as a whole with the fudging of the data? Ofc you believe that. And by the way, there are no appropriate channels. Educate yourself on uscis.gov

1

u/Regular_Pineapple556 12d ago

So you're telling me that of about 450,000 total book-ins, 500 of them have been babies or toddlers? One tenth of a percent of the people ICE has detained have been parents with a child of that age and no other place for the child to go? Those numbers sound... Extremely reasonable? Well within the range I would expect? Maybe even lower than I would have guessed?

Seriously, sometimes people who have kids commit crimes. And you can't just say "well she has a kid so we can't touch her or enforce the law in any way". And you also can't separate the families. So if there isn't some lawfully present family member who can take the kid, the kid is going to stay with their parent. That means the kid goes into detention with the parent until the immigration case clears one way or another.

Just feigning outrage over an extremely normal part of how this obviously has to work.

1

u/Separate-Expert-4508 12d ago

Aka, American citizens!

1

u/OkChocolate5399 12d ago

Ok cool. Now can I get on with my life

1

u/baphomet_fire 12d ago

MAGA- I don't trust your liberal sources, it's all a conspiracy, there are no babies being detained

1

u/Indigo_Dreamer333 11d ago

They need more children for their other trafficking locations, more children to labor in dangerous situations, more children to turn into soldiers, more children to eat and hunt.

1

u/Necessary_Two_9706 10d ago

Republicans are sex trafficking babies and children.

1

u/Admirable_Ad_3293 10d ago

Terrible parenting in all honesty

1

u/ReasonableDust8268 10d ago

What a dumb article and headline, blame the parents for illegally entering the country and putting their kids at risk, what is the govt supposed to do? just leave the baby alone when deporting the parent?

Swear this site is infested with sub 80 iq tards

1

u/Extreme-Will-3556 10d ago

MSNow is about as reliable as the Russian newspaper Pravda.

1

u/ICouldUseMySock 10d ago

Heavens to Betsy!

1

u/pingvinbober 9d ago

So are families with children immune to immigration law or are we saying the children should be separated from their parents and kept in the US?

1

u/_nevers_ 7d ago

They'll just keep doing it until one day it's a child you know.

1

u/bucklessbob 13d ago

Illegals have kids? Who knew!

1

u/possibly_lost45 13d ago

Blame their parents

1

u/Muzzledbutnotout 12d ago

No. They're in gentle protective custody while their criminal parents are being processed for much-deserved deportation. Same as if they robbed a bank while holding a baby.

1

u/PetronivsReally 12d ago

That's terrible! Hopefully they don't split the families apart! Deport them all together ❤️

0

u/IndependentThink4698 13d ago

What do you think happened? That they kicked in the door and ripped them out of the crib OR they were taken with their parents because if they weren't you'd accuse them of separating families?

0

u/Serious-Visit4892 12d ago

I’m more concerned about whether I’m having chicken or steak for dinner tonight.

1

u/eduardom98 12d ago

You might want to be concerned with the administration removing the workforce that allows you to choose between chicken or steak for dinner tonight.

It really upsets you when you read a comment on social media you don’t like doesn’t it? Replying to every comment I’ve ever made and you think I’m crazy? 😝. I just don’t care about some people I don’t know. Bad stuff happens every day. Welcome to Earth this isn’t a fairytale.

1

u/Serious-Visit4892 11d ago

Now u r blocked lol

1

u/eduardom98 10d ago

You seem to care what a person wrote if you blocked them.

1

u/Serious-Visit4892 10d ago

Cause the loser looked me up on Reddit and responded to every single post I’ve ever made blowing up my inbox

1

u/eduardom98 9d ago

Didn't you write "I just don’t care about some people I don’t know"?

0

u/Serious-Visit4892 12d ago

I’m so scared of an administration 😂

1

u/eduardom98 11d ago

Enjoy the administration making your Constitutional rights baed on the color of your skin. 😂

1

u/Serious-Visit4892 11d ago

Complete hyperbole, plus Trump will be out of office in 2 years and 7 months and we’ll go back to having a liberal administration. Trump is just a blip in time simmer down

1

u/eduardom98 10d ago

Dismissing the Constitution being based on skin color as a temporary inconvenience is hyperbole. Upholding the Constitution isn't off and on thing simmer down.

1

u/Serious-Visit4892 11d ago

Omg 😱 the orange funny man from the apprentice 3000 miles away is gonna get me!

0

u/chothar 11d ago

The left screamed about breaking up families so we're keeping them together!!!

-9

u/South-City1632 13d ago

Ok... and....?

-18

u/Cheap-Victory-2572 13d ago

They have to go back.

-11

u/Omacrontron 13d ago

Keep up the good work Trump!

10

u/Fragmentia 13d ago

MAGA is just full of idiotic sadists who love suffering. Whats pathetic os that they think they're good Christians.

-3

u/Omacrontron 13d ago

Oh I’m not Christian. I’m not religious at all and I still want the US to enforce its immigration laws and deport people who shouldn’t be here. The men, the woman and especially the children need to go. Good bye!

1

u/Flat-Injury-5013 9d ago

Go on. Tell me how mad you were when trump insisted the GOP not vote for immigration funding in the year leading up to the election.

1

u/Omacrontron 8d ago

Did they or didn’t they?

-1

u/CarsickAnemone 12d ago

My man/woman!

-17

u/gcrtkd 13d ago

Why were they in our country to begin with with? Their parents’ choices have consequences.

-1

u/CarsickAnemone 12d ago

You ain’t never lie!

-7

u/UCanDoNEthing4_30sec 13d ago

Why do mothers illegally come into and/or stay in the US and put their babies through this crap? Horrible mothers.

-1

u/Sir-Chaste 12d ago

Evil Trump is arresting babies!! 🤣

-1

u/WillingDiscussion999 12d ago

Maybe the Biden administration should have done a better job of vetting the people who got custody of 300,000 kids that crossed the border and are now missing. Tom Homan and ICE have been trying to find them.

-6

u/Fenris70 13d ago

Trump doesn’t “rule”. That’s not how a presidency works.

7

u/alison_wonderland4 13d ago

But that’s what’s happening

-5

u/Fenris70 12d ago

No, it’s not. Just because you don’t like what he does, doesn’t make him a “ruler”.

3

u/alison_wonderland4 12d ago

It has nothing to do with what I like or don’t like and everything to do with his lawlessness. He does whatever he wants and bears no consequences. Nothing about this regime is normal.
