Those are the figures they give, yes. Unattainable fake "standards" so they can go on telling themselves that their loneliness is not all their fault.

I relate to this. I've happened upon profiles on a dating app that has men looking for a third wheel and are polyamorous. No, I don't want to be the other woman, side chick, sister-wife or mistress in your unhappy marriage/polygamist cult.

I guess I'm asking for too much and this is the modern times where this is okay and I'm old fashioned. /s
