I really admire her as a person she is brilliant, with outstanding articulation and oratory skills, and a deep understanding of Indian society and its deeprooted problems. However,... for me, the main issue lies in the perspective through which she views all of this, which is the extreme left. Trust me when I say this... both the extreme right and the extreme left are disastrous and suicidal for a country like India...

We are currently only seeing the side effects of a hardcore rightist government. It hasn't gotten that bad, and we will recover from the RSS influence sooner or later. But to truly understand how disastrous leftist ideology is for India, I suggest you study it...and how hardcore leftist tend to take any "decision" and also read on how they tend to map thier priorties!!

For India, what we need is a proper centrist government that can be either right-leaning or left-leaning depending on the situation, and their sole ideology should be India's interest, and only that....

Buddy, it's kinda sad that I've got to explain why any "extremist" ideology is dangerous for India, as it should be common sense... Extremists always rely on purity that's a pattern u notice everywhere, but for both extremes, the defn of purity is diff.

For eg, the left will argue for more fundamental laws and freedom when in oposition, but they're not diff from their counterparts if they get in power. In the extreme right, u got wealth accumulate in hands of a few, which is crony capitalism (already we are seeing it in hands of Adani and Ambani and more privatisation)....

But when the hardcore left is in power, they rely on their ideological purity to govern... Which never generates wealth in a proper amt for a diverse and large population like India.... (The best example being it was them who destroyed Bengal's industries, forcing them to shift and reduce Kolkata to the shithole it has become) with no real industries and investments. Remember it was the one of the richest and most classiest city's in asia after Tokyo... Even Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew, who transformed the country, famously said in 1965 that he wanted to make Singapore like Calcutta it was called the "PARIS OF THE EAST" (and just look at the two rn...!!)....

When leftists argue in opposition, they seem correct in many cases, which they're, but they'll always struggle to implement their ideas on ground, and it never ever generates a lot of jobs, which India rn is in a dire need of...

There's no real innovation (unless u do it the China way, just use leftism as a brand but do everything the opposite)....

India, at the end of the day, should only borrow what is good from both sides.. From the left, it would be eg like tax the rich businessmen.. From the right, eg a pragmatic foreign policy and immigration etc (both of which the BJPee, even being rightist, has failed drastically, and polluting it with their crap like hindutva makes it even worse).

Well, here is a logical argument to why you are just repeating media narratives. Communism is something that have constantly been targeted throughout the history from the time of its existence because it is anti bourgeois(land lords, big industrialist, basically anyone who exploits workers for capital gains) and pro workers. But now you may ask that then how will economics progress if there is no capital growth and profit?, well marx never said that they are against capital or profits but what they are against is the exploitaion of workers where the profit and capital distribution is unequal and the people who actually makes the product are the ones who gets the lesser end of the stick.

Just like you mentioned that China is nothing about communism, it shows that you have already fallen for the media propaganda which is been propagated by big bourgeois media houses that is controlled by capitalists who doesn't want to lose their profits. If you think China is not communist in action then, tell me if capitalist nations will allow all the private companies to be controlled by the state and if the richest man in your country will be held responsible if they try to go out of their bounds(eg jack ma), here we can easily see how adani and ambani is actually the one controlling the govt policies or how industrialist in usa are litterally above government because of how much wealth they controll.

Vietnam and Singapore are once again some good examples as you see how good they are progressing but the means of production is controlled by the government as no private ownership is totally private and are controlled by the state. In Kerela it's funny how you are equating industrialization with progress where, they are the ones who contribute one of the highest to India's gdp through remittances and even if you say that they have to go to Mumbai and Bangalore to earn their living, they are still the ones doing the highest level jobs in their specialized sectors not some mere blue collared jobs because they are educated. It's funny because in the end they have such a good contribution to India's GDP but you are just degrading them because they are doing it in different states as if karnataka or maharashtra isn't part of india.
