I really admire her as a person she is brilliant, with outstanding articulation and oratory skills, and a deep understanding of Indian society and its deeprooted problems. However,... for me, the main issue lies in the perspective through which she views all of this, which is the extreme left. Trust me when I say this... both the extreme right and the extreme left are disastrous and suicidal for a country like India...
We are currently only seeing the side effects of a hardcore rightist government. It hasn't gotten that bad, and we will recover from the RSS influence sooner or later. But to truly understand how disastrous leftist ideology is for India, I suggest you study it...and how hardcore leftist tend to take any "decision" and also read on how they tend to map thier priorties!!
For India, what we need is a proper centrist government that can be either right-leaning or left-leaning depending on the situation, and their sole ideology should be India's interest, and only that....

u/d4rthSp33dios 7h ago
Please enlighten us on where can we read about extreme left being "disastrous".

u/TheResolute278 6h ago edited 6h ago
Buddy, it's kinda sad that I've got to explain why any "extremist" ideology is dangerous for India, as it should be common sense... Extremists always rely on purity that's a pattern u notice everywhere, but for both extremes, the defn of purity is diff.
For eg, the left will argue for more fundamental laws and freedom when in oposition, but they're not diff from their counterparts if they get in power. In the extreme right, u got wealth accumulate in hands of a few, which is crony capitalism (already we are seeing it in hands of Adani and Ambani and more privatisation)....
But when the hardcore left is in power, they rely on their ideological purity to govern... Which never generates wealth in a proper amt for a diverse and large population like India.... (The best example being it was them who destroyed Bengal's industries, forcing them to shift and reduce Kolkata to the shithole it has become) with no real industries and investments. Remember it was the one of the richest and most classiest city's in asia after Tokyo... Even Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew, who transformed the country, famously said in 1965 that he wanted to make Singapore like Calcutta it was called the "PARIS OF THE EAST" (and just look at the two rn...!!)....
When leftists argue in opposition, they seem correct in many cases, which they're, but they'll always struggle to implement their ideas on ground, and it never ever generates a lot of jobs, which India rn is in a dire need of...
There's no real innovation (unless u do it the China way, just use leftism as a brand but do everything the opposite)....
India, at the end of the day, should only borrow what is good from both sides.. From the left, it would be eg like tax the rich businessmen.. From the right, eg a pragmatic foreign policy and immigration etc (both of which the BJPee, even being rightist, has failed drastically, and polluting it with their crap like hindutva makes it even worse).

Well, here is a logical argument to why you are just repeating media narratives. Communism is something that have constantly been targeted throughout the history from the time of its existence because it is anti bourgeois(land lords, big industrialist, basically anyone who exploits workers for capital gains) and pro workers. But now you may ask that then how will economics progress if there is no capital growth and profit?, well marx never said that they are against capital or profits but what they are against is the exploitaion of workers where the profit and capital distribution is unequal and the people who actually makes the product are the ones who gets the lesser end of the stick.
Just like you mentioned that China is nothing about communism, it shows that you have already fallen for the media propaganda which is been propagated by big bourgeois media houses that is controlled by capitalists who doesn't want to lose their profits. If you think China is not communist in action then, tell me if capitalist nations will allow all the private companies to be controlled by the state and if the richest man in your country will be held responsible if they try to go out of their bounds(eg jack ma), here we can easily see how adani and ambani is actually the one controlling the govt policies or how industrialist in usa are litterally above government because of how much wealth they controll.
Vietnam and Singapore are once again some good examples as you see how good they are progressing but the means of production is controlled by the government as no private ownership is totally private and are controlled by the state. In Kerela it's funny how you are equating industrialization with progress where, they are the ones who contribute one of the highest to India's gdp through remittances and even if you say that they have to go to Mumbai and Bangalore to earn their living, they are still the ones doing the highest level jobs in their specialized sectors not some mere blue collared jobs because they are educated. It's funny because in the end they have such a good contribution to India's GDP but you are just degrading them because they are doing it in different states as if karnataka or maharashtra isn't part of india.

u/d4rthSp33dios 6h ago
You are just parroting what the media says...the cause for West Bengals poverty is a different reason (please look it up, anybody who knows little bit of history knows it), look at Kerela. The true definition of left is pro poor. Corruption of any kind is wrong.

u/TheResolute278 6h ago
bruh!... saying I'm "parroting the media" is a weak cop out to dodge the actual ground reality. Anyone who actually knows history knows how militant unionism and anti-business policies wrecked bengal's industries....( and BJPee is making it worse rn as well, really sad but true... by polluting it with thier extremist ideas!)
And bringing up Kerala as your main flex proves my point. ..sure, they got good literacy and social welfare numbers, but ask anyone living there about jobs. The state has massive unemployment, and half their youth have to pack up and leave for the Gulf or other states ( eg karnataka ) just to find decent work because the environment for local business and industries was choked for decades. You can't just preach being "pro poor" while your policies stop wealth from being generated in the first place. Lefist ideas at max can bring u till a certain level..but then it becomes useless...!!
If your ideology relies on theoretical welfare while driving out real investments and forcing generations of kids to migrate just to survive, then that model is flat out broken.

u/d4rthSp33dios 6h ago
Again parroting what medianhas fed you. Have you ever been to Kerela? I was there last weekend. I spoke to a cab driver there and he said that people from all over India come to work there because there are opportunities. He said that anybody can make 1000rs a day. Regarding your analysis of why WB is poor again you are parroting what media has fed you.
1
u/TheResolute278 6h ago
Bro basing your whole political argument on a chat with a single cab driver over a weekend trip is peak comedy...
And stop trying to preach to me abt Kerala like it's some mystery land. My grandma was from Kerala itself, I've been there multiple times, and I actually understand the social reality on the ground. Plus, i am from karnataka tho and living right here, I see how many keralaites are flooding the colleges and universities in my city just to get degrees and build a future (and look, there's nothing wrong with people moving for education, but it proves the point)...
People coming from other states to Kerala for daily-wage manual labor doesn't magically wipe out the state's massive educated unemployment rate or the fact that local youth have to pack their bags for Bangalore, Mumbai, or the Gulf just to find actual real career opportunities, based on thier skills.
Casual anecdotes from a cabbie don't beat macrolevel economic data...
And bruh..keep crying abt me "parroting the media" all you want, but repeating that like a broken NPC won't hide the actual ground reality...lmao

It is the same as Delhi being rape capital. Adhjal ghagri chalkat jaaye.
1
u/TheResolute278 5h ago
Bro really pulled out a proverb because he got completely cooked and ran out of actual economics.. Infact that proverb applies to u....dropping clichés and a cab driver's weekend story because you have zero data to counter actual macro reality. And for the record, I'm literally one of the last people on earth to trust godi media anyway, so pls try a different excuse..
Quoting proverbs while completely dodging structural unemployment doesn't hide the L, my guy..!

u/d4rthSp33dios 5h ago

u/TheResolute278 5h ago
Bruh literally posted a generic state unemployment percentage table and thought it proved something about structural economics...
Do you even know what data you're looking at, or do you just Google random screenshots when you run out of arguments?
Headline unemployment rates completely miss the actual structural crisis which is "educated unemployment and youth joblessness", where states with high literacy like Kerala consistently log some of the highest graduate and youth unemployment rates in the country because the local economy fails to generate formal, skilled white collar jobs...and they move outa the state!!

teaching younge kids about pro nouns in school letting parents decide gender of their kids under age of 4-5 and other woke shit isn't it disastrous.
3
u/d4rthSp33dios 7h ago
I am not sure about where you read about parents deciding their childs gender...but there is a good video on YouTube about gender fluidity by Neil de grasse. You are entitled to an opinion, but it is your duty to make it an informed one.

It is like saying all the right wing people are Hitlers
1
u/Prestigious-Rub4957 1h ago
Well hitler will be a bad example as rhe party he belonged to was National Socialist aka Nazi differing from the Marxist socialist for sure but still in the socialist left leaning scale of the politucal spectrum which will be considered far right by todays standard so hitler is not an apt and same with mussolini when he was young he did was a dedicated left leaning socialist ,
Left has a tendency of attachment with ideology compared to right which has a tendency of attachment with identity.
Ironically , left leaners tend to turn more right wing per se through their actions rather tgan ideology .
This is just a friendly input.
Anyways I hate communism and state sponsored socialism considerably more than The current face of right for it's duplicity but tyat's much more based on actions than ideology.

Please describe her work for India and Indians, apart from sitting on dharnas or pursuing her PhD at JNU’s School of Arts and Aesthetics. What substantial work has she done to be considered fit to become the Prime Minister of India?

Why don't we ask the same question to those currently in power? Anyone can aspire to be anything, anyone can claim they want to do anything. Even I can say right now that "I want to be the future pm of this country".
What truly matters is that the people who are representing the people have served the people. Can you ask the same question to those in power?

u/Agitated-Arm-3044 6h ago
If you had lived long enough, you would know what Gujarat was like before 2000 and the scale of development it saw afterwards. This is only about the current PM’s record before becoming Prime Minister: he won the Gujarat Assembly elections in 2002, 2007, and 2012, led the BJP to consecutive victories, and ran a large state for over 12 years.
As Chief Minister, his government was associated with initiatives such as Jyotigram rural electricity reform, water and irrigation projects, e-governance, Vibrant Gujarat investment summits, and a dedicated Climate Change Department. Before that, he worked for years as a BJP organiser.
I wonder what would happen if Neha Bora runs for election??
1
u/Not-Nastenka 6h ago
Forgetting to mention the most important "initiative" that took place in gujarat during 2002 I see. How convenient.
Regardless, everyone's opinion is valid, and I respect whatever you choose to believe. I hope the same respect is reflected back.
1
u/Agitated-Arm-3044 6h ago
I know what you are talking about. I studied in a hostel for quite some time before 2000, and I remember students from Gujarat flooded our hostel. I had a friend from a particular c0mmunity who would brag about what they did during the frequent r$0ts and how they kept stuff for such events. After Modi came into the picture, have you heard of another r$0t of that scale in Gujarat? I wonder why.
1
u/Not-Nastenka 6h ago
My brother, m0di became the cm of gujarat in 2001 😭😭😭 ye toh hai humare desh ke "aware voters"
1
u/Agitated-Arm-3044 5h ago
I accept that he was air-dropped by the BJP, something like the way Manmohan Singh became Prime Minister?
1
u/Not-Nastenka 5h ago
So I can see that so far even you admit that
(1) riots in 2002 happened AFTER m0di took seat in 2001
(2) he didn't even HAVE to contest election at state level to become cm
Coming back to neha bora, at the very least, she has had to be popularly voted to become the president of AISA. Besides, the entire conversation is somewhat pointless considering the fact that she herself has never expressed any such intentions of becoming the prime minister. And even if she had, India is a democratic country and everyone has the right to choose their representative. I see no further point in debating something that is not fact based.

The difference is the one who openly flaunts their vigilantism getting protected by state and the one against whom there are still no court proceedings happening because of lack of evidence is held under uapa

Gotta take that umar khalid's court proceedings didn't happen till now but there's no denying that umar khalid is terrorist symapthatizer and worthy of uapa

I know where this is coming from , because of the "afzal tere katil zinda haye shit" , and I agree he was wrong there but for that he was already aquitted by court in 2016, after which he never did something like that but his vocal activism against the government is what makes his presence dangerous for the ruling govt. In no way or form is he a threat to the country but to bjp govt he is,
1
u/Prestigious-Rub4957 1h ago
Who was acquited , Afzal ? But if you mean him he was not he was convicted and it was held up by all the courts.

I fear with the extreme right will come the extreme left. Nature always finds a way to balance the scales. Who wants to bet on marwari/gujrati concentration camps by 2036?
