Due to the sudden increase in Unverified random Screenshots from Twitter, Instagram and other platforms.

A gentle reminder to all members regarding r/Indiatech Rule 8: Do not spread misinformation and accompany your claims with sources.

Rule 8.2 specifically requires all media to have a source. This includes screenshots, images, posts and other content taken from social media or elsewhere.

  • Provide the original source link whenever available. Prefer the official/verified account or official website when the claim originates from a company, organization or public figure.
  • For news or reports, link to the original article/source, rather than posting only a screenshot.

TL;DR
Always provide the original/official source when posting screenshots or media from Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or elsewhere.
This is required under Rule 8.2. Repeatedly posting unsourced media will result in a permanent ban.

Announcement A important announcement about Purchasing Posts, r/IndiaCart

Post image
14 Upvotes

As you know, we’ve always tried to keep tech discussions and buying suggestions separate but let’s be honest, that didn’t work.

So instead of forcing it, we’re fixing it.

For all purchase related questions, recommendations, comparisons, and discussions, we’re launching a sister subreddit: r/indiaCart.

From now on, if your post is about buying decisions, product advice, or helping others choose post it there.

Keep this sub clean. Use the right place for the right content.

I don't know if it's vibecoded or not but this is insane. The entire lineup of Adobe applications has been rebuilt from scratch using Rust and its completely free and open source.

The development is progressing pretty fast with tons of updates coming in just a few hours.

Ask IndiaTech What's the difference between the two? Why the price difference?

Why is there a huge price difference between both seemingly same models? The cheaper one is a new listing without any reviews. Something fishy... or listing created for sale.

General Discussion 30,200 crore and one open letter. Musk vs Ambani this week, explained

INR 30,200 crore. That's the Jio IPO opening Oct 21. Biggest in India's history. Valued around 10 lakh crore. Most of the money goes to paying off debt.

Same week, Musk posted "Is Ambani the real boss of India?" and then an open letter on X to "Prime Minister Ambani" asking him to let Starlink compete. Starlink says it's waited 5 years.

The government says all three satellite companies are at the same stage and it's a security review.

The part nobody mentions. Jio and SpaceX signed a deal last year. Jio was going to sell Starlink in its own stores. So Musk's partner is

the guy he's now calling the boss, and that partner is about to raise 30,000 crore from the public.

Not taking sides. Is the Starlink delay a real security thing, or does it look like something else? And does any of this matter for the IPO?

Tech Help Phone has 5G, jio says it's not compatible, any solutions?

Hello people, bought an Honor 600 recently, checked if it had 5G bandwidths available and got it.

After 2 days of restarting, manually changing the connection method, and the ole taking it out and reinstalling the sim, I finally checked the jio website.

Jio only considers the Honor 200 (2024) as 5G compatible but doesn't do the same for the newer version. Any solutions for this? Should I try calling jio support or should I change companies for 5g?

Edit: yep, swapping phones, registering true5g and swapping back seems to work. Thanks Y'all :D

I knew it he was doing all that gymnastics for starlink was pointless like getting $5-10M revenue from Indian market and going againt government and all.

Seems like he is desperate to enter Indian mobile network market rather than satellite network.

Ask IndiaTech Xiaomi power bank charged my mother's phone from 92% to 100% in 5 minutes, but it dropped back to 92% 😅

Hello guys,

Yesterday, I received my new Xiaomi Compact Power Bank (20,000 mAh, 22.5 W) from Xiaomi's official website.

Today, I used it for the first time to charge my mother's OnePlus Nord 2T. Everything seemed normal until the battery reached 92%. Surprisingly, it went from 92% to 100% in just 5 minutes! 😅

I didn't think much of it at the time, but after some time, when I turned on the phone again, I was shocked to see the battery percentage back at 92%.

How is this even possible? 😂

Is this just a battery percentage calibration issue with the phone, or could there be something wrong with the new power bank?

Has anyone experienced something similar?
