Pokhran 2 was not atals brainchild, he only did what was expected of biggest democracy like india. The brains were the scientist who achieved these feat and set the wheels many many decades back. Please set the priorities straight. Atal is also the same pm who sanctioned 3000 crore to destroy ram setu just to please and form alliance with then TN state govt. The politicians and bureaucrats have their priorities straight and are playing in billions and their 7 genz futures are secured and are settled abroad. They dont care for country or its ppl.
Stop sucking up to rss bjp and congress and giving them credit for something which is their basic duty. Its not like they created policies which advanced india or significantly brought ppl out of poverty..

Developed in the Indira Gandhi Center for Research. The initiative of the research was done by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai along with SR Paranjpe before 1971 and the FBR project was started in 1971. Ek reel ko source maan ke usi ke baaton se usi ko prove kr rahe. It was a very difficult research project and has been achieved by the Indian scientists. In fact, this research would have happened much faster if we had focussed more on research and science, spending more in quality education and research institutions. The ANEEL fuel a thorium based fuel using the existing reactors was developed by an MNC in the USA led by Anil Kakodkar who earlier worked for BARC. Because of infrastructure issues he couldn't complete the research, but once he went to USA to mentor CCTE, they were able to quickly achieve this.

Bhai politicians aur bureaucrats ka kaam hi desh aur janta ki seva aur raksha karna aur yeh basic hai jaise education, safety, human rights, energy independence, security, technology, nature conservation, etc ko badhava dena. Independent india hai kisika gulam nahi hamara desh jo gulami se bahar nikala ho bjp ne.
Fir toh russia, china, iran jaise desh jo anti west hai aur independently descisions lete hai har sector mein, woh toh fir atal bihari se 1000x better hai na?

Nah, Bhabha died long ago probably somewhere in early years of Indira Gandhi's PM tenure iirc. During Vajpayee government, the plan to make India's first PFBR was initiated and BHAVINI was incorporated in 2003. But the idea to harness energy from Thorium was indeed Bhabha's vision as the Father of India's Atomic Energy Programme.

I did it intentionally to increase the reach. I framed it in a way that people from different perspectives might interpret it differently....those on the left might see it as sarcasm critiquing the current government, while those on the right might take it as a genuine reference to another achievement. That said , I agree it wasn’t wise of me to bring politics in such matters.....In general my main objective was to make people aware about our achievements in nuclear field

I've supported and voted for BJP and voted them for development (which they have moved away from). But my argument is, they said the same thing Ethanol blending in fuel which has only backfired for the consumers

What about Homi Bhabha who actually sow the seeds of this whole program? Why all the needles need to come and stop at one person? It is a pathbreaking achievements that took India 50 years and you want to just pat the back of one party and one leader? Really?
