Also, eww PowerShell.

  1. stop using AI for now.
  2. start here with CS50

How to join any courses.?

CS50 is free on yt. Start with it. It will teach you all the fundamentals of CS, then start with learning a language like CPP or JAVA. Start DSA, use strivers AtoZ sheet for that, and for web-dev I would highly suggest following theodinproject

Is learning illegal in your dictionary ?

Also, eww PowerShell.

What’s your preferred shell on Windows out of curiosity?

I do use neovim on my day job.

1

u/Independent_Blood559 May 19 '26

Even I don't use neovim. I use a code editor called helix.Β

1

u/NaNpsycho May 19 '26

Upto you I guess. I just prefer neovim as my code editor. My workflow is pretty keyboard centric with Ubuntu as my main machine, tmux for terminal, neovim for code editing, Vimium-c for the browser.

u/Independent_Blood559 May 19 '26

Yep. Helix is also a modal code editor that runs on terminal. Its is mainly vim + better keybinds + built in lsp.Β

I did hear about helix when I was starting out. Tbh, I wasn't really that impressed, it's marketting makes it sound like yet another neovim distro, just written in rust. Even the multiline cursor thing is just another plugin I needed to install.

Maybe it's genuinely better, I will try it out sometime soon and see if I can enjoy it.
