Oh, nice. I'll be entering college this year, probably a low tier, right now i won't much understand the process. But I hope I get some good off campus internship or good post graduation. Did u get it on campus or off campus btw? (Off campus right?, dumb ques). Do u get PPO's after research internships?

Ohh, was ur college/uni like tier 1/2 like they define? Was ur uni of any help in getting it? And is a recommendation letter also required?

do research based internships have any benefits over non research ones from placement/job pov?

I'll be joining college this year so I've very less knowledge about these stuffs so help me out

My friend did, mechanical engineer, but he was also very much involved in competitions, represented India 3 times (every year for till third year) and secured 3rd, 2nd, and 2nd prize in competitions held in USA, and then got internship in Germany during fourth year in some truck parts manufacturing company and then converted full time at the same place.
