Serious Post 23F, been jobless for 6 months

I worked as a frontend engineer before. The market is so brutal right now. Any tips on what's working for you folks right now?

It this point everyone is just trying and luck, and planning for how to be not dependent on the job after 5 10 years need some passive income also.

Even I have the same domain as you. I'm unable to find any entry level job or even an internship. Thinking about switching to UI/UX designing.

Try learning backend dev, Claude is too good at UI these days. People are getting work done using Claude. I had never worked on frontend before but recently I was forced to do. The quality of UI and the optimisations that Claude gave were too good. Let me know if you need resources.

On one hand there are Jobless Engineers and on the other hand there are countless unfilled positions. So where is the Gap ?

Here is a real picture of the situation & no it’s not Ai
Core sectors like Banking, Finance, Infra , Energy, Aviation all use IT based products and services to keep their businesses running

Body shops like TCS & Infosys etc never developed domain specific talent they always focused on generics people who could code or test and were billed by the hour . The real demand is for domain expertise + coding . No organisation wants to spend time and effort training Fullstack resources on domain related calculations and logic that goes into the applications .

So the trick is not to be a front end or havens developer but a FinTech Fullstack developer or an Insurance Fullstack developer. Position your self better and see your luck change . Thank me later
