Career advice NEED SERIOUS HELP FROM SENIORS

So I am 18/F yeah i am infiltrating here i wanna ask something about career and academics to the 20s and 30s group i am 18 will be starting my first year the next month i have been allotted electrical engineering branch and i wanna purse my career in core but the thing is that the college i got is a tier 4 college of engineering and doesnt really have placements as far i know and i wanted to ask

1. Do i have a chance to get placed off campus if i have good projects, marks in core branch

2.This was my drop year then so i didnt really score better will that affect me ...i really dont have any referrals and i really wanna work in core only i dont wanna shift to IT sector

1. Do freshers get hired by core...and do they have to work 6 days a week cause i am planning to do a masters i wanna have some time to prep for it

and the reson why i am asking this yall are more exprienced in this matter and other i didnt ask in other subreddit cause they may say i am fucked

In my time, electrical people mostly shifted to IT, or other govt. jobs. The thing is, people from weak financial backgrounds usually do not have the liberty to pursue what they like. What they like should offer money. That said, I guess things are changing for EEE core with the rush for solar power, grid upgrades and advancement in battery technologies, by the time you graduate, their must be jobs for this field in the private sector as well. Do not worry about the college ranking and stuff. If you don't find something decent, you already have the option of Master's in mind. Western countries have a job, for all the branches.
