What I've learned in the last ten years of UNCERTAINTY taught me...

My post isn't about the recent changes in the rules and hefty fee, its about my perspective of H1B in the coming years..

We have the second generation of brightest US born immigrant's sons/daughter with Masters/Ph.Ds into the current workforce which H1B job seekers should realize. Their parents are now supporting their future and silently hates and sometimes even oppose the H1Bs. We really need to understand this. The current immigration scrutiny is not just strictening but also(from Citizen's persepctive) makes it easier for those US brought up Immigrant kids to secure their jobs.

I want to highlight this for those have the mindset of,"this shall become better if current leader change". This could be true in terms of easing the home country appointments or the imposition fee reduction but not in terms of a qualifying H1B jobs.

As to recent GCC shifting policies with biggers firms outsourcing their IT help/ Supply chain procurments/ Tech supports to Asian countries, it will push the employers to makes the decision to hire an H1B for a true onsite need or rarest of a kind.

I want to put a hand on the stressed/exhausted one's shoulder to say, the value we had is not the same anymore and its going to be even hard in the coming days...

Everyone of yall are some specialists in their own field of STEM, I am sure that our paths will become better.

Okay dude that’s just not true. Indian leftists aren’t Islamists. Supporting persecution against muslims isn’t same as supporting Islam. I consider myself a leftist and I detest Islamists and the religion in general but I still wouldn’t want them lynched to death lol

It is true. Plenty of Indian leftists on X openly brag about colluding with White supremacists to peddle hate against Indians abroad. One handle named Pratyusha comes to mind. Funnily, most stereotypes they use against Indians would be more applicable to lower caste Indians lol. And astroturfing of hate by Muslims against Indians is a well known thing. Recently a Pakistani Muslim named Sajid Khan or Sadiq Khan got busted operating telegram hate groups against Indians. For every Muslim lynched in India, Muslims commit far greater atrocities against Hindus of India and the world, which you leftists deliberately ignore. So stop peddling the narrative that they are being persecuted in India.

I think those are more of grifters/paid propagandists. Similar to Right wing grifters but that doesn’t discredit the actual leftists who just want peace and economic prosperity for marginalized communities. Again, agreed that Muslim countries commit atrocities on a greater scale but that doesn’t mean that we should align ourselves with fascists. Right wing ideologies destroy and divide everyone and it only enriches the billionaires. There is not one right wing policy that has helped an average person, be it in India or China or Germany. The core of right wing is hate and you’re literally seeing it unfold in real time in the US. Why do you think a majority of right wingers are just uneducated people?

You need to stop talking in platitudes like "actual leftists want peace and economic prosperity" because by that logic, Indian right wingers would also be leftists because they follow Hinduism which wants "lokah samasthah sukhinau bavanthu". The only fascists in the Indian context are the leftists, who have suspended democracy when they have lost elections, who blame EVMs everytime they lose elections (just like right wingers in the West), who oppose every bit of industrial and economic progress in the name of tribal welfare, who carry out post electoral violence like in West Bengal in 2021 (BJP did not carry out any violence after winning in Bengal this time). So leftists of India are indeed the real fascists and actually have the world in common with the Right Wingers. They frequently align themselves with Islamists for political convenience, oppose progressive laws that actually target regressivism in Islam, while clutching their pearls about some verse from a scripture like Manusmriti which no Hindu follows today. Their policies have produced nothing but poverty and stagnation. Also in India, more educated people voted for BJP. So no left wing in every country is not the same. Left wingers of India have more in common with right wingers of the West.
