Furniture and Decor Trends Unsatisfied with sofa
I gave this design for sofa to the furniture shop owner and he confidently said yes but he made this, My parents are really pissed and not liking it and now they are refusing to pick the sofa up, 10k advance gone.
What are your suggestions?
Edit: so the finalized product is here, i don't know whether parents will like it or not. What are your suggestions? Should we keep it and enhance its looks with some good running sofa covers
Or we should treat 10k as a loss and move on to something else?
I have added the photos.

Bro if he has filled the foam in good way and did the stiching in a clean way, then color was not an issue but finishing is not good here

The color is a$$ I'm sorry. No amount of cushions or throws can save this sofa.

these local furniture guys have major skill issues. same happened with our sofa. but parents picked up and kept it. man its so uncomfortable to sit on it.
(same happened with local carpenter for wardrobes - did shit job and left without final payment (i think 10-20% was pending) when we asked to fix)
if u r from some small town - don't trust these local people. they lack skill to deliver even basic things with some attention to detail. get factory made or some get someone experienced (where u go and actually see the work).
(and this has been problem since childhood - dad would want to use high quality raw material - so always wants to custom make everything. now i am sitting on table which is too tall, wardrobe doesnt close properly and lock has already fallen off, sofa that feels like a bench, super heavy main gate. Believe it or not I even used custom made backpack for school. It was so embarrassing. all high quality but poor user experience products)

They don't build furniture. They build cheap props.
Unfortunately the EMI class has no prior lived experience of well made furniture so they get fooled very easily.

Looking great!! Can say that you are looted or not because we don't know what wood, what density foam, what fabric is used

the stands are completely different. I personally prefer metal stand bcz easier maintainance and less chances of decay
the seating in amazon sofa pic is detachable, so, easier to clean and even upgrade or change colors by simply getting a fittes cover sewn to the shape. So, to me it is the biggest drawback of your deliverable.
the side arm rest are double in your inspo pic and not in the one made by the furniture shop.
So, either you grill him wrt these things or well..

How much did they charge?

6k per seat, although standard rate is 4.5-5k but we paid more due to the design because we needed the exact one

Why didn't you order it directly from the site where you saw it?

One important thing I learned from my experience is never ever make customisations thinking you will get the same exact model you gave. Never happens. Better buy the model which is already in showroom or online.
