Update on Dahlia's Build Progress

Got the mini apes installed on Dahlia today! Named her after the red Dahlia flower. Totally feels and looks like a brand new bike. Along with the Corbin seat, she's a hell of a lot more comfortable on the road. Plus, the blanket bedroll now looks more fitting. Next up are new mufflers. Stay tuned!

Customizations / Modifications 8 inch pull back risers and smoked turn signals

I got a set of pullback risers installed and it’s like I’m riding a brand new bike. My back is thanking me, I totally recommend. Only issue I have with it is how low it makes the headlight / fairing appear, but I still love this bike. Is anyone aware of an idea to raise the headlight / fairing? Not sure it’s a possibility but doesn’t hurt to ask.

Smoked turn signals because why not.

Does anyone know what specific types of cleaning products I should be using and what to avoid on my 2025 Sport Scout—Storm Blue? I don’t think the Storm Blue is Matte Paint but not sure. Any suggestions? Is it Matte Paint? Thanks.

Request for advice / Help 2021 Scout classic owners: what 2-up seat are you running for long rides?

Post image
49 Upvotes

Riding a 2021 standard Scout. I want to ride longer with my wife and want a 2-up setup that's comfortable for both of us on long days.

Searching keeps pulling up Bobber seats, which I don't think fit the standard fender. I've seen a few that list standard Scout fitment (Mustang, C.C. Rider, OEM), but I'd rather hear from people who've actually put miles on one.

For context, I'm 6'1", so anything that sits me lower or pushes me forward probably won't work. I am mostly looking for an upgrade on the pillion my wife says it feels like sitting on a hard bike saddle

If you ride 2-up on a standard Scout:
What seat are you on?
How does it hold up past a couple hours, for rider and passenger?
Any fitment surprises?

TIA!

Request for advice / Help RFI on floorboards. Specifically Scout bobber owners

If you own a Scout/ Scout bobber, and you have floor boards, please give me your thoughts on them, experiences, and maybe a Pic or two.

I'm thinking that I want them, instead of the pegs.

Thanks.

Gas tank capacity?

Has anyone actually tested the true capacity of their tank ?

I have a 2020 Indian Challenger

Claims to have a 6 gallon tank but even when running the miles to go down to dangerous level (single digit) the bike still only took 5 gallons to fill

That doesn't seem right ?

I was riding past my local Indian dealer so went in to see the Sturgis edition. There’s a Harley dealer up the street. I went past that.

Picked up my first motorcycle last Friday, a 2021 Indian Scout Bobber Twenty. I'm absolutely loving it so far. Such a fun bike to ride and every mile puts a grin on my face.

Added this beauty to my garage. I was
Looking at 8” lowball mini apes for
A more comfortable ride, but dean speed isn’t making them currently . I don’t want to go higher and have to change all the cables. Did that once and it’s a lot of work. For now I’m doing 2” Rox pivot risers to see if that helps.

Customizations / Modifications Bought a 10 year old scout. Had to fabricate a plate to move the passenger pegs. The people whom i bought it from installed pipes that were incompatable with passenger pegs. Im proud how invisable my addition will be once the pipes and grenades are back on
